These slip right on. Chrome was decent quality for the price, seems to have held up well so far. Old stock mufflers required quite a bit of rocking to get off, but it was worth it.These things are loud and breath better by far. The baffles are removable and did seem to mellow over time after some carbon has built up. For about $20 you can buy some baffle packing material and wrap it around the baffles if you find them too loud.Did not need to re-jet until I put a big sucker air filter on my 99 sportster later in the season (went up to 45/175)Mounts using all original hardware, so make sure you keep your old clamps and keep the old exhaust hanger bolts because these just slide in.Better than screaming eagle branded poops and rumored to be made by the same company on the forums.

These slip-ons look and sound great. A definite bargain for good sounding and performing mufflers. It fit like a glove on a 2002 sportster.

I wanted to replace my screaming eagle mufflers which are known to be loud. These fit very well they are a smaller diameter overhaul so I was a little worried how they would sound. I would say they are at least as loud as the screaming eagles maybe alittle louder. For the price I think they are a very good value.

The sound is not louder, but it is much deeper and more pronounced. It sounds great. I'm so glad I made this purchase. It was a little difficult to install, but that is not the product it was the bike. The mufflers mounted perfectly to my 2003 Sportster. Just what I was looking for. These "mufflers" gave my '96 HD Sportster 1200 a low roar. It is that Harley sound I was wanting. Easy to install.
