Hilka 11670013 1/2-Inch Pro Craft Impact Driver Set (13-Piece)

For what this cost, what's not to like? I had a sieved screw on my motorcycle front brake master cylinder and I couldn't get top cover off to add fluid and bleed the brake. I didn't dare try drilling it out as a new cylinder is £300 so I had to get the screw out without damaging the pot. This little beauty sorted it easily. The impact driver itself seems to be quite well put together, very solid and quite heavy. The bits are certainly good quality. The pozi screw head was already chewed up and rounded out, but the pozi bit in this kit was hard and sharp enough to cut into what was left of the screw head for a good bite, and the impact driver spun it free without fuss. Tapped the bit into the screw head, attached the driver, took up the tension and with a couple of gentle hammer taps is was job done, kettle on. Best £11 I've ever spent. So happy, and very impressed. I can see this getting a lot of use on all the rusted screws and nut on my bike.

I bought this specifically for undoing 4 screws on a cast iron vintage brake drum. Unfortunately despite wacking it hard with a lump hammer they didn’t budge. All it did was deepen the slots considerably and after 5 minutes almost cutting the head of the screws in half. The bit was still in perfect condition but the head of the impact driver clearly showing marks from the beating. It’s definitely worth 5 stars 🤩 I ended up drilling off the heads of the screws which was pretty easy because they were almost cut in half from the beating they received. Good tool, did the job although not as originally intended.

It did what it was supposed to do, i.e. undo stuck screws. But remember what someone else said L is for loosen, R is righty tighty

Just what you need when you need it. Good quality and pays for itself first time it shifts those seized disc retaining screws.

3 star given because first two uses it broke 2 of the bits it came with. After using my reinforced bits it easily got the gob done.... the bits it comes with I wouldn't rate at all but the driver itself is a must have in anybody tool box. Got me out of a pickle while trying to replace a seized bolt on my motocycle breaks.

Excellent 👌 I managed to extract three part mangled Phillips screws.

Used it twice. Should have returned when box hinge came off whilst on passenger seat of my truck on the 7 minute journey from home to workshop. On first use, removed about 4 Philips screws successfully. On second use, removed 2, and the mechanism failed - stuck between L and R rendering impact driver useless other than as a heavy screwdriver. Returned to Amazon.

Ottimo cacciavite a percussione, avevo esigenza di svitare viti del carter della mia moto che erano dannatamente bloccate e non ne volevano sapere di svitarsi nemmeno con un ottimo cacciavite usag che alla fine le ha spanate quasi del tutto. Preso dalla rabbia ho acquistato questo attrezzo: buona la dotazione di bits, ottima la qualità dei materiali e molto bella l'idea del contenitore in metallo...sensazione di durabilità di altri tempi. Scelgo il bit adatto, lo inserisco, mazzuola e un solo colpo e sento la vita svitarsi...la maledetta non ha potuto opporre alcuna resistenza e nonostante fosse quasi del tutto spanata il colpo di mazzuola ha proprio scavato la forma del bit a croce nella vista al punto che ho dovuto estrale con la pinza in una morsa. Tutto questo indica sicuramente che la qualità dei materiali è ottima e i bits fanno il loro dovere alla pari degli altri prodotti blasonati. Mi sento di non condividere le critiche negative lasciate da alcuni utenti perchè in base alla mia esperienza sono riuscito a raggiungere il mio obiettivo e con una spesa molto abbordabile, inoltre data la qualità dei materiali, credo che il rapporto prezzo qualità sia più sbilanciato verso la qualità. Dunque lo consiglio a chi non è "affezionato" ai marchi blasonati e bada alla sostanza. Non recensisco per interessi, nella vita faccio tutt'altro, ma credo molto nel sistema delle recensioni per cui se questa mia recensione ti può aver aiutato in qualche modo mi fa piacere. I haven't used the impact screwdriver much(yet), but I'm very familiar with this kind of driver. If it breaks I will update this review. This one seems solid, and I've had very similar ones serve me for years until they get lost. The box is a bit loose and the finish of the metal is a bit crude, but I guess it will last. You get 3 slotted, 3 Philips ,3 Pozidriv and 4 Torx bits that seem sturdy. It's good value
