light weight and warm!
I wore this in -30 degree temps as a mid-layer and it was perfect. I've also worn it alone with a light jacket in the fall and it kept me warm. It's soft and very comfortable. It's very light weight, but don't be fooled, it will do the trick. Great value for the money and there was no shrinkage.

GREAT shirt or base layer
I LOVE this sweater! I itch like crazy with wool (typically) but with this one - no itching! It is so comfy and soft and keeps me comfortable in both warm and cool climates! I recently purchased it for a trip overseas (cool climate so got the 250 weight) and it was 100% my favorite thing I wore!

Consider ordering a size up
I purchased this heavier-weight merino wool 1/4 zip top last Fall. I live in the southern US, so it doesn't got cold here very often or for very long. This top works well for days under 30 degrees because this base layer will keep you warm throughout the day. The snowflake pattern and colors are really cute and feminine. My only problem with this top is the fit. The shoulders, across my upper back, and upper sleeves feel snug on me. I found myself constantly adjusting the sweater because it felt like it was riding up. I ordered an XL, the recommended size (I wear a size 12 and 36DD). If you're busty consider sizing up.

Split seam after very little wear
I have a lot of items from this company, but this one has a split seam after only a couple wears and gentle washes with air drying. I think it’s an anomaly since all my other items from this company are great.
