BEAUTIFUL, FUNCTIONAL & GOOD VALUE.,
I've been keeping a bullet journal for three years, but due to chronic illness I had to skip some things, leave space for them so I could go back to them later, I ended up in such a mess and lost all motivation, but really missed it. I fugured a Filofax might work better, but to have one that would last isn't cheap and would be a waste of money if it didn't work. Then I found this clip book by Filofax, they do a clipbook range, but their Filofax inserts also fit. I absolutely love this book. It's so versatile. I can start something that is more of a long term project, but keep daily records of various things in the preplanned diary, just not having to do all the ruling or figure out how many pages to leave for something I need to go back to is no longer an issue, I can now work on several ideas at a time without worrying about the amount of space I've left. I have crammed it full of sections and have reduced three books into this one clipbook. It's a gorgeous colour and I love how the metal rings show through. I rarely go out so for now it's perfect, and next year I will likely buy a traditional Filofax folder. If I had to take this out to work or college or whatever, I am not certain how well the Clipbook would stand up to the daily abuse of being shoved in and out of a bag and carted around. It's well made and sturdy enough even at full capacity, pages still turn easily but I've had to buy some of those ring reinforcers as a couple of pages tore while moving. If you want to try a Filofax but aren't sure if it's for you, this is definitely worth the money, it's not expensive for what it is, it's easy to use with plenty of dedicated Clipbook inserts which are reasonably priced and good quality and it will hold other Filofax inserts too. I'm really, really enjoying by bullet /art journal again. I would absolutely recommend this and the seller as well.

Flexible and useful - the teal blue colour is beautiful.
These clipbook notebooks are very versatile. They come with a range of inserts including undated weekly and monthly pages as well as a fold out year overview as well as note paper with lines and squares. You can add other A5 filofax inserts or other A5 4 hole punched paper that you can get on Amazon. Of course, you can also use ordinary paper and punch it yourself. I like the clipbook because it can be as slim or bulky as you need it to be. Mine has got lots of extra stuff in it which bulks it up which I like. It does fold flat on a table, and you can also fold the cover right back on itself and it does go almost completely flat. I was slightly sceptical about how hard wearing the cover itself would be. It's a leather look but not as sturdy as a traditional filofax binder. However, it has stood up to being thrown into my work bag surprisingly well with not a mark on it. The mechanism to open and close the rings is slightly unusual. Rather than pushing at the top and bottom of the rings, you have to pull on the cover itself. It does work well, but as I said, it is unusual. The plastic covering that the notebook comes with can be used to make dividers to put inside which is good and shows that the manufacturer has thought about the environmental impact here. All in all, this is a very flexible product and it's proving to be very useful. And I absolutely love the teal/blue colour that I chose.

Stylish and functional (I'm always excited to use it at work!)
I sort of started a bullet journal this year in a Moleskine notebook but found that I didn't like running out of space for a particular section and then having to continue the section partway through the notebook. However, with the Filofax Clipbook, this isn't an issue - the ring system means I can move pages around as I like, meaning that (for example) notes from various meetings can be kept together. The ring system seems to work well (you pull the covers to open all of the rings), but it can be slightly tricky to turn the pages sometimes, and I imagine this is more of an issue the more pages you've inserted. However, it's easy to get rid of pages you no longer need. Regarding the cover, it feels nice and soft and looks high quality. The Clipbook comes with a plastic cover half attached to the outside. As you can see in the first photo, it's handy to reuse the front and back of this to make two page dividers - simply layer up some Washi tape to make your tabs! Some reviews I read before purchasing this mentioned a strong plastic smell when opening the package, but I didn't notice anything.Overall, I'm really pleased with my purchase and it's made me feel much more productive in my personal and work life.

Brilliant.
I love this filofax! The cover is a gorgeous colour and does not feel cheap at all (as I feared it might, being a cheaper alternative than other filofax options). As other reviewers have mentioned, there was quite a strong chemical type smell when I first unwrapped it, but this was coming from the inserts provided and when I removed those (replaced them with inserts I designed instead) the smell disappeared. The ring system seems sturdy, and I've been using it for a couple of weeks now with no noticeable effects. The only thing I would say is that when the clipbook is fairly full, the rings do open a little when you try to fold it open to write - but this is to be expected, really, and with fewer inserts it can certainly be bent like this without ill effects. All in all, this does exactly what I wanted, looks fantastic and is helping me to get seriously organised. If it wasn't horribly rude, I would totally buy one for all of my disorganised friends/family!!
