Great espresso
I used this coffee in a bean to cup coffee machine. The espressos produced were the best that machine has ever done! The crema was outstanding and the flavour full of nutty, chocolatey notes and was also robust enough to come through when used to make latte and cappuccino drinks. The beans were well within their shelf-life, so nice and fresh.

Smooth, chocolatey, well rounded coffee
A lovely, well rounded coffee. Has hints of chocolate and caramel and leaves a great after taste. Have tried a good few coffee beans, include most from PACT but I have to say this really hits the spot consistently and at a fraction of the cost of most small batch roasters. I see some reviews say this is bland and lacking but in my opinion it far outshines many of the other Lavazza coffees and has a nice depth of flavour. I drink this as an espresso or flat white made in a bean-to-cup machine and the addition of milk really brings out the chocolate/caramel taste while as an espresso it has none of the bitterness associated with most higher strength coffees. Sure you can get some great specialized blends and coffees and you pay for them so this sits in perfectly as a good base coffee for everyday use.

Really good. Nice oily beans. Need to be ground a bit coarser than Lavazza red and other brands, otherwise will clog your machine. Coffee is strong and not bitter. Maybe not as full bodied as it could be, but very good all round.
