Great wick, ideal for my zippo lighter.

I picked up this accessory set because my lighter was starting to struggle a bit, and it turned out to be exactly what I needed. The wick lights cleanly and burns evenly, and the flints spark reliably every time. After replacing both, my lighter feels noticeably smoother and more responsive. Genuine Zippo parts make such a huge difference to using your zippo. I used other well known brands for flint, fuel etc and found lots of little problems like when you use other flints it will work but with so much more fiddling and harder to start, zippo flints are wider n fit the chamber and strike the wheel far better to give very easy n instant start. They are softer n were slightly quicker but does not wear the wheel like other flints. With other brands they are more designed for clipper style lighters and work well there but in a zippo being narrower they lean in the shart slightly and when using a new flint it take time to bed in and at first it's enough to wedge against the wheel causing you wind back and forward and to use force. The zippo flints just install n first strike instant light. The wicks again work so much better for zippo as for fitting, trimming. Also you will find alot less soot using genuine Zippo flints. This also goes for the fuel too. If you have used other brands in your zippo then install any or all and it's like you have a new zippo and such a pleasure to use. Before going back to original flints, wicks n fuel I was using my clipper alot more as my Zippo was becoming unreliable and making my hands black with every use.
