Excellent
Just bought a 2nd one of these in case something happens to the first one. Absolutely fantastic and pays for itself after 2 haircuts. It's a no brainer.. Very easy to use. You need to stand in front of a mirror then hold another mirror behind you to do the back of the head. Can get barber style mirrors from ebay fairly cheap. I use it to keep the back and sides tight and can get a better result than some of the barbers I've been to with no cost and no waiting. Cant compare this to other head shavers as it's the only one that I have used but cant see how it could be any better hence the purchase of a second one. Some reviewers have mentioned that the combs break easily if dropped so have been careful not to drop them. Battery life is very good and have had no issues one year on but to be honest it has paid for itself many times over so if it packs in tomorrow I will happily buy another.

I didn't use them yet but think everything's going to be fine with it
What's up with the word play with this item?! This is Remington HC4250 Quick Cut Hair Clipper, yet here it's called Short Cut Pro whatever. . . . Give me a break. . . . One cannot know how many types of this clipper there are -- especially after reading reviews that claims the Short Cut Pro is an improved version of the Quick Cut, which you can buy for considerably less than I did (67 pounds). As far as the clipper goes, I didn't use them yet but think everything's going to be fine with it.

Beware this is the Remington quickcut NOT shortcut pro
Firstly I love this product and it’s the best clipper i have ever used.Sadly the seller is advertising the Remington short cut pro, but delivered was the Remington quickcut. I can’t find any difference between the two models apart from people saying the shortcut pro is better for bald heads. But that is not the product sent and I’m not sure the two different product exist. You can but the same product cheaper from other sellers.

Great product for the money
Cuts well, totally waterproof. Can pull a bit on the beard if it is not properly wet, but that isnt an issue in the shower!

Excellent way to give yourself an even haircut.
Excellent way to give yourself an even haircut between those trips to the barber.I had been looking at reviews for some time now looking for a way to give myself a basic, even haircut at home. There are other models of these types of cutters that have a round-style cutting blade, but the main complaint that most people have is that it generally gives a very un-even cut, so I decided against getting one of those and getting this from Remington. I was not disappointed.First of all I was surprised on the size and how comfortable it felt in my hand. It is very easy to use in either hand and I can get everywhere around my big head very easily. It also comes with a metric ton of different size attachments. I actually read another review by someone who gave it a bad review simply because there were too many attachments which I found pretty funny. If you don't need the other ones, put them in a bag and throw it in a closet somewhere and just keep the ones you want/need. You might need the other ones later.A haircut with this takes me 5-8 minutes depending on how long my hair is and how much trimming I need to do around the edges. It does a very good job. You might need to do more than one pass over an area if it is very long, but it only takes a few seconds more. It is also great that it is completely water proof, making clean up super quick if you did a lot of cutting with it. Also great to have when you just need a quick cut before going out with friends/family. Also saves you a ton of time/money by eliminating trips to the barber. Also this is great for use on kids depending on the haircut. A friend has two boys who both have short hair cuts and he bought the Remington to save money on the family budget going to the barber with them. He loved it so much that he uses it now too. It works great using it by yourself and also works great using it to give someone else a haircut.Worth every cent I paid.

Kudos Remington
Loved the look, the portability and the functionality of the clipper. For Indians please buy a step down transformer ( for charging the clipper) to use it in India. Singway from AliExpress is the one I am using...works well with it. It is light weight and you don't even need to use the guards or attachments...you can just use the clipper especially if your hair is short.

Well designed and great for travel
At first I wanted to give this 4 stars but changed to 5 for the reasons explained below. I purchased this after once again conducting a fruitless search for a dual voltage hair and beard trimmer to take overseas, as I didn't want to take a heavy converter in addition to the necessary plug adapters. I'm guessing that the reason it's difficult to find a dual voltage trimmer or razor is the 60MHz alternating current in the US versus 50 MHz in Europe (and probably many other places), thus causing problems with proper functioning of a trimmer/razor even if dual voltage because of the speed difference. I came to the conclusion that a battery operated trimmer was clearly the best option and this trimmer did indeed work very well.I returned only a few days ago from 2 months abroad traveling through Europe and used this trimmer for both my head and beard approximately every 5 to 7 days, as I keep both hair and beard closely cropped. Because it's not dual voltage, I did indeed need to take the voltage converter to charge the battery, but the trimmer itself is so small and convenient that it pretty much offset the minor inconvenience of packing the converter. For years I've been using a heavy duty Oster set of clippers that are downright awesome, with a powerful motor and self-sharpening blades that only intermittently require oiling. The motor in this Remington is clearly not as powerful as in the Oster, but the tradeoff is minimal size and weight. What this ultimately meant though is that the Remington worked best when fully charged, thus requiring recharging after every use. This is not really a big deal as it can be fully charged again in 15 minutes or so.Another result of the less powerful motor is that the Remington also works best if a light application of oil (included) is applied before every use. Again, this is not a big deal and the small oil bottle was quite easy to pack along.Functioning: I have to give this a 5-star rating because it is intended for trimming head hair (versus beard hair) and it did so with very minimal fuss, without throwing hair all over the place, trimmed evenly, rates extremely high on ease of use, and gets the job done efficiently and quickly. I'm impressed and now prefer it over my much more burley Oster clippers and I hope that it can last for years to come. It just makes the job so dang easy.Because it was the only set of clippers I took along to Europe, I had to make due with it for trimming my beard also. Frankly, I'm very happy with the results despite the design clearly not being optimized for that specific task. Once you do it a few times, you'll start getting very good, even results with little fuss. I should note that I do not have a goatee or other style that requires precision trimming. I simply needed my entire beard trimmed evenly and I was very happy with this trimmer's ability to do so despite the less than optimal design for doing so.Why did I almost give this 4 stars? Well, beard hair seems to give this trimmer more problems than head hair. I don't know if beard hair provides more resistance or what. But one change I made pretty quickly was to make sure I trimmed my beard first, when the clippers were fully charged, to avoid hairs getting caught/pulled, which is quite annoying. If the clippers were freshly oiled and fully charged, no hairs got caught or pulled. So I count that as a success. And I can't take away a star because the clippers don't necessarily perform optimally at something they weren't exactly designed to do in the first place. So the 5-star rating relates exclusively to the ease and and excellent usability when trimming head hair. I can conclusively say that I'm very happy to have found this well designed set of clippers. I'll update the review further if they develop any problems in the next year or so.

There is no 220V adapter that comes with it!
It is a brilliant piece of equipment but the charger that comes with it is a 110V adapter. So please do check before you plug into your wall socket !!! I had to use a converter to us it here in Singapore.
