life changing product
I suffer from hyperhidrosis, localised to my armpits. They would be sweaty even on cold days, and particularly in social situations. Since I started using this product around 4 months ago I haven't had any sweating problems - the difference is amazing.I've previously tried other products like Driclor, Anhydrol Forte etc and they did nothing for me apart from itch, but for some reason this one works.I haven't yet plucked up the courage to just apply this once a week - I'm using it 2 or 3 times per week. But it's been around 4 months now and I'm not even half way through the bottle, so it's great value.Only downsides - it takes slightly longer to dry than a normal spray deodorant (although much quicker than a roll on) and the first few times it can get a bit itchy (but less itchy than other extra strength antiperspirants). Worth putting up with though.This product has made me so much more confident - I can stop worrying about wearing certain colours, ruining shirts with sweat stains, lifting up my arms etc.**Update**I've been using this now for over a year, two to three times per week and I still haven't finished the bottle yet. Happy to report still absolutely no armpit sweat.** Update 2, Jan 2025**Still using this, although I've reduced the frequency to probably around once a week. Still feeling good with absolutely no sweat marks!

A deodorant that finally really does offer "Maximum Protection"
Up until about 12 months ago I never suffered with sweaty armpits, I work in a busy bar and my colleagues used to ask me how come I never sweat?But last summer something changed, I'm not actually sure what it was, maybe a change in deodorant? Maybe a change in lifestyle or diet, but almost overnight I suddenly started getting a very wet armpit. You'll notice I put armpit and not armpits! Yup I only suffer with excessive perspiration on my right armpit.I've tried all the "maximum protection" and 96hr ultimate power deodorants but nothing could stop my right armpit from "dripping with sweat"By chance I looked on amazon for deodorant and this product came up. I've tried driclor and it left my armpits red raw. Infact I had such problems I had to see a doctor.At just under £10 its not as cheap as other deodorants but as they claim a single bottle will last upto 6 months it really isn't that bad in the scheme of things.So onto the product review......I got home from work on Saturday evening and my amazon package was waiting for me. I jumped in the shower, had a good clean up and then dried my armpits with a clean towel and then waited to make sure I was totally "dry" under my arms.I then followed the instructions and sprayed 2 sprays under each arm. Now as I put before, I had a nasty reaction to another brand and was kind of expecting my arm pits to sting, but they didn't! I got a very slight tingle that lasted 3 minutes and then nothing.The next morning (Sunday) I showered again and then dried myself and put my shirt on. I didn't put any deodorant on and to my amazement this stuff really works! It's now Tuesday evening and I'm still completely dry. I have only put on one lot of purax and am amazed to say that this stuff really works.If you are in two minds as to whether to try this I would say do it! You will not be disappointed

Works somewhat
Having tried the roll on version of this I was sceptical. The roll on burnt like crazy and etched too! This one however was much more gentle on my skin. However the actual benefit of this product lacks. It works for about a day (if you're lucky) not to say this product isn't for you. But definitely wasnt for me

Formula works but pump broke
Bought this product to help me with my excessive armpit sweating and although there was quite a lot of itching for the first couple of hours after application, it worked miracles - no sweat patches for more than 5 days in a row, so 5/5 on the anti-sweating formula. The pump was fine after 2nd application but a week later (during which the bottle stood untouched on my shelf) the pump wouldn't work - it reversed somehow and is pumping air into the bottle rather than the liquid out of it. So 3/5 since I had to come up with an alternative way of application (open the bottle and use soaked wipes...).

Better than £400 botox injections and saved me from a £1500 MIRA Dry operation....
I have suffered from hyperhydrosis my whole adult life and tried everything. The best solution for me thus far have been underarm botox injections which are extremely painful and cost around £400 a pop. This typically gives me about 60% reduction in sweating but only lasts for a few months. However, it has become less and less effective over the years and I've been looking for another solution.I considered getting the Miradry operation where they use lasers to destroy the sweat glands. The price of £1450 didn't put me off (bearing in mind that you may need to do it twice so probably looking at £3000 in total), I figured that it would be worth it if I could get a permanent solution. What put me off is that many people complain of nerve damage in their arm, lots of on-going pain after the treatment and the miradry results are so-so.This purex product was a God-send! It does not sting or cause inflammation like what I'm used to with products like this.THE RESULTS? 99% reduction in my sweating!!!!!!!!!Heavy activity makes me have a slight dampness otherwise the Purax keeps my underams BONE dry.I can not believe that I have suffered and wasted so much money all these years. But I am so freaking grateful that I did this before doing the MIRADry.I had to leave a review and thank the makers of this product.

Good, but not for me...
Bought this because the reviews said it was skin friendly, I have super sensitive armpits and I just could not use this, it really irritated me... but that is just me and it does seem unfair to make down because it irritated me, for someone else it could be amazing! the few times i persevered it really kept me dry...
