Nice and smart package. Easy to asamble, very steady to fly outdoors and nice and easy to control. Very happy with the purchase, good value for money. Takes good pictures, has lights all around, easy to spot in the dark for nigh time flying.

The F183W drone is a fun low-cost entry level drone that is perfect for people who are interested in getting into drone flying but are not willing to spend too much on a device that can easily be lost or damaged, especially in the hands of inexperienced pilots.The drone has an approximate flying time of about 10 minutes per battery and this package handily contains two of them for a total of about 20 minutes.The packaging is nice and well presented and although the drone requires some basic assembly, it is an enjoyable experience as all parts and tools are included in the package along with an extremely nice instruction manual.The battery pack is a little difficult to fit in the small on-board holder but not too tricky.The camera module is fitted to the base of the unit and is optional. the quality is not great but at this price point, it is perfectly reasonable.One of the best features I found was the fact that a smartphone is not needed at all unless you want to use the on-board camera as the drone can be flown entirely with the provided controller.Since I have had the drone, we have had pretty intense weather here so there have not been any opportunities to be more adventurous and when I have flown, it was quite a challenge to keep it under control given the extreme wind however, despite a few crashes, I was impressed in just how robust the drone is.I do think the drone would be improved by longer battery life as learning to fly a drone takes a lot of practice so longer lasting batteries would be nice. It would also be nice to have slightly better camera but at this price, it is hard to fault.All in all, a nice "first" drone and especially good value as a gift for teenage kids!

I was looking for a drone for my 9yr old son and going from the previous reviews,this looked a good bet.He found it easy to assemble although he needed help stuffing the battery pack into its snug compartment.The problems arose when it came to actually using it.On average it took between 5 to 10 attempts to pair with the remote and when it did we only got around 3 minutes of flight time.That,however was indoors.Outdoors,a moderate breeze would cause it to crash meaning that the lengthy pairing process needed to be repeated.Spending 10 minutes pairing and then changing a fiddly battery is not a 9 year old boys idea of fun so i have now sent it back.

I received this drone today, really impressed with it. I already own a more expensive Holystone drone that is a joy to fly. This appears to be just as much fun. It’s feature-packed, comes with two batteries and charger lead along with a spare set of propellers and guards. The camera works a treat; the drone is super responsive, easy to fly, and connects perfectly to the app. I haven’t had a chance to try all the settings out yet. Tomorrow’s the day for that. For the money, £79.99 it’s well worth it and will make a super present for a grandchild, son or daughter. You don’t need the phone or app to fly the drone, but you will need to connect your phone to access all the features. There’s a light on the charger lead, which is helpful, and an SD slot for the footage you may want to capture. It’s made of plastic and is pretty light, so as long as the propeller guards are on, it should last quite well. I can recommend this drone, and having had experience with Holystone support, I can also recommend them as a company. Polite and quick to respond.

This drone is quick to set up and really easy to fly. The camera is good and the drone is steady in flight. The drone looks great in the air with lights around it for when the sun light starts fading. I would recommend this drone for beginners or children as it definitely feels like a fun big kids toy rather than a professional piece of kit. I gave this product 4 stars rather than 5 due to the fact that it doesn’t come with a carry case for long term protection.
