Excellent tasting BREADING MIX for the authentic taste of Weiner Schnitzel. This IS NOT a Sauce. As the description would lead you to think. Each pack will coat roughly about 3-4 Pork Chops or pieces of chicken depending on the size. It's best on Pork Chops if you really want to prepare it the way it's done in Germany. Buy thin sliced boneless pork chops, using a mallet or rolling pin, tenderize them really good, and really flat. You can use an eggwash if you wish, or just rinse them in cold water. Afterwards, simply pour the mix into a plastic ziplock type bag, followed by your meat. Shake it vigorously. Then empty the contents onto a plate flattening out the meat and patting them down with the extra coating mix from the bag. Fry at medium heat until golden brown. You should only need to turn with tongs once. Serve with a slice of lemon. Excellent taste of German Cuisine. Spending my tween and early teen years living in what use to be West Germany (Bavaria), I started out learning to cook American classics right along with their German counterparts. So, I miss having my favorite German dishes. Thankfully, I can get Knorr products to start off or make a complete meal. Knorr is always top notch quality for me.
