I would think all spices are gluten free they are made from plants and seeds and not wheat etc

They do last for a long time, even though you might not cook curry everyday. As stated, it is an airtight container, and the worst that can happen, is they wont be as strong after years of being unused.

Is the tin and smaller containers included with the spices?

Hi, no the tin doesn't come with spices. It does keep the spices very fresh though. Although, the pots are a little on the small side and don't hold a stardard sized bag of spices.
