MOSISO Compatible with MacBook Pro 15 inch Case with Retina Display Older Version A1398 Release 2015-2012, Protective Plastic Hard Shell Case Cover, Black

This is the second one of these I have owned as the other one started to look tatty as the soft feel started to come off as had for way over a year. Keep seeing reviews that bottom is too short, just to clear this up.....as you can see in the picture it has to be shorter to allow the lid to open. So IT ISNT POORLY FITTED AND TOO SHORT. It’s the design to make it work. These are perfect for what they are designed for protecting the MAC, so they take the knocks etc not the MAC, they look really good and feel great, yes the darker colour you go for the more it shows marks if your hands are greasy, eating a sandwich then touching example. But easily wiped clean. I would highly recommend this case and cant fault it. I had dark grey last time and this time (pictures attached) in Navy blue.I have added to this review and added more pictures as I have been asked if the cover covers all four bottom corners, it doesn’t due to the lid having to slide into this area when open, the only thing I will say is that I have had one of these cases on since I bought the MAC new, and I have never had any damage to any corner but I do keep this case in a sleeve when I am travelling but also the outer case does sit proud of the MAC so not sure if this is what prevents any damage. To me the case helps to keep the MAC clean and free of scratches etc. But if you was to drop on the corner I don’t think any case would help prevent any significant damage!!!!

The product is ok, it scratches easier than anything I have ever seen, if you put a piece of paper on top, the chances are, it will scratch it. If you don't mind that and just want a "cheap" "protection" for you laptop then this is for you.

Very easy on and off application, amazing colour, feels like soft velvety texture but it’s hard plastic case, my old Mac looks like new:) can’t comment on durability yet, arrived earlier than expected.

This is a really nice cover that will protect your MBP. It can be easily installed and taken off if you need to.The only issue is when I open or close the lid of my laptop, parts of the cover are touching back of the lid so it makes a silly sound. I used a knife to brush a small layer from the cover on the part that touched back of the lid and it helped a lot but still the noise is there.

Cheap feeling, half transparent half black, not really enhancing my mac, but rather making it look like cheap junk. It does offer protection but the plastic is so cheap that it gets scratched very quickly. Not bad for £16 but I wish I had invested in something a bit classier

Well crafted and fits my MacBook Pro like a glove. It snaps into place and fits tightly. I’ve used other brand name cases of this type and have found them to not fit well. They also crack on the corners and literally fall apart. I purchased one of these cases five years ago for my other MacBook Pro and it is still in very good condition. It was attached to my MacBook right out of the box and it has protected that MacBook 100%. No scuff marks or scratches like you get with cheaper cases. The MacBook is five years old now and still looks brand new from the box.

Firstly, if this product was really £34 as advertised as the RRP, you will feel slightly oversold. The quality just doesn't demand the value. However, I'm going to review based on the price that I paid (£14).Delivery: Item arrived as specified, fast and prompt via Amazon Prime.I purchased to protect a new Macbook Pro 15" Retina (Sep 2014). The black case as a slight rubbery feel, although is a plastic composite. The edges were slightly rough and one part was pretty sharp. That said, it does the job! It offers full protection around the macbook, allowing room for the ports to be accessed etc.One thing to mention: The rubber 'feet' that provide a grip when placed on a surface are absolutely useless. They are glued on with something with the same sticking ability as PritStick, and lasted a couple of days before falling off. This resulted in the case sliding all over the place.Does it do the job? Yes.Does it fit? Yes.Is it built with quality in mind? No.Last point - Black looks great. But it does pick up every fingerprint, smudge and anything else. So give it a clean every now and then to keep it looking good.
