Q: What flavour makes the best cappuccino?

We think the chocolate notes of Cacao Superior (Colombia) pair beautifully with milk - and the slightly darker, nuttier taste of our Brazilian coffee, Praline Especial, work very nicely too. If you're after extra punch, Spice Kautaka (India) is very dark and has some fierce robusta alongside the smoother arabica, so that's some people's favourite for cappuccino. We'd say that Citrus Gold (Kenya) is the espresso which has the most to offer when drunk without milk, as drinking black really allows those fruity notes to come through.

Q: Can I use it with dolce gusto machine?

Hi Reema. Our capsules are made for use in Nespresso machines, but we're afraid you wouldn't be able to use them in a Dolce Gusto machine.

Q: Are these recyclable? Can I just take the foil off, put the coffee in the compost and put the pod in the bin for plastics?

Unlike the official (metal) nespresso capsules, which you just bag up for recycling, these are plastic. Therefore you must separate the coffee grounds and container yourself to recycle them. To me, it isn't worth the time. If you have kids to do it with you, and compost at home, then these could be worth it over the official pods, otherwise proper nespresso pods are better value.
