Julian BowenStone White Wood Domino Bunk Bed, Single

I was looking for bunk beds for a 5 year and a 2 year old and each time I hunted these were always my favourite but I was unsure about whether to get ones that split into two beds for when the children are older. In the end I chose these from this seller because the delivery was going to be quick, which it was.I am so pleased that we chose these beds. They look really fabulous and are very sturdy. The shelves are such a lovely touch and the children had great fun picking their favourite teddies to live on them. My 5 year old also uses the shelves for his books and torch for when he reads at before bed.Preparing to put the beds together was daunting but actually, once we got our heads around the hundreds of screws and dowls, the instructions were clear and the beds went together really easily with only a couple of user error mishaps! If you're methodical, they go together well and are designed brilliantly. We were very impressed. It took two of us just over 3 hours to do everything apart from the slats on the bottom bunk but there were four small children running around the house at the same time so we weren't just working on the beds the whole time. I did the bottom slats on my own and they took another 45 minutes.Well worth the time though and if you want a really stylish and sturdy set of bunk beds, I can't recommend these enough.

Takes more than one person to assemble. The accessories (nuts, bolts, screws, etc.) were exact - perhaps the seller could have added extras incase of damage to or loss of any accessory. You need to be sure of the dimensions of your room before buying this product. After the laborious assembly, it turns out to be a sturdy and good looking bed. Not too sure how long it will last anyway.

Superb bunk bed — 3-year old boy loves it!Bit of a mission to build but then anything of this scale is going to be; having said that instructions could have been clearer. Once it's done it's totally worth it. A well made and very good-looking piece of kids bedroom furniture. Shelves are incredibly handy and little touches like the luminous strips on the steps really make a difference. Highly recommended.Edit: anyone reading this from the vendors, I'd appreciuate it if you could contact me as one of the slats (that was a little distressed when unpacked) is well on its way to breaking and I'd love to know how I can replace it. Thanks.

poor quality, not worth that price, it came damaged aswell and missing stuff. Returning it for refund.

Brilliant bed, very sturdy, and I love the proper steps instead of ladders.That said it is absolutely massive and it weighs a tonne! Took 4 hours for two of us to build and we aren't novices.Also it's not just the size of the bed, you need extra space around it for building.

Very good apart from the rail bracket being a little loose - no way to resolve apparently

The bed is beautiful but it requires alot of time to build it and figure it out. The wood material is very weak and breaks easily

Great bunk bed and really well made, took 4 hours to build noticed the quality was very high, it was a pleasure building and the kids love it. I found the Instructions excellent I am fairly good with diy so the build was enjoyable so if your not comfortable with challenging build get some one else to do it for you, this bunk bed is worth getting, even the slates are hard wood not your cheap thin ones you often see.
