Cressi Supertotem Diving Knife - Black

The knife it's self is of good quality sharp so be careful, the length of the blade is 12.4cm which is 4.89 inches, from tip of handle down to the point of the Knife is 23.2 cm in inches it is 9.14, thickness of blade is 3mm 0.12 inches. I have a issue with the thick plastic knife holder and it is light and durable. The knife it's self is of excellent quality and worth the money as my old knife is about 30 years old and it was time for a new diver knife. If this knife gives me as much pleasure as my old knife did then it would be great, but the handle of the knife is a thick plastic as my old knife was wooden handle which I made myself as didn't like the handle that my first knife had so I made it a lot easier and with a good firm balance, but this knife may save my life so it has to be just right for me and when the Lockdown is lifted then I will try it out as it isn't as sharp as I would like it, but then I can deal with that myself. Overall it is a nice wee piece of equipment and everyone has different opinion but I am happy with it like the blade. I would like to thank both the Seller and Amazon as this is my second divers knife in 30 years not bad at all. Look after your diving equipment and it will last you a life time as I did all my deep sea diving with the Royal Marine (Special Boat Squadron).

This is only a moderately priced knife, albeit of a reasonably high quality.Mine was honed to a perfectly acceptable standard and unless you have very fat legs the straps fit just fine.I'd suggest a slight smear of silicone grease on the handle retaining ring (but not on the pull tab) will enable the knife's quick release from it's scabbard. I'd also recommend a thin application of silicone grease on the blade to protect and enhance it's performance during use. But surely, that's just how any caring work person looks after all of his/her tools.

Good dive knife for the price. While some question the need for one, I feel it’s best to have one whilst snorkelling/diving in case of net entanglements etc. The knife has a rubber ergonomical handle which provides effective grip. The blade is sturdy and sharp enough to cut through netting etc easily. The sheath and leg straps are adequate for the job but could be more substantial in my opinion. The rubber loop which slots onto the handle of the knife to secure it in the sheath is somewhat difficult to remove and replace at times but with practice it becomes easier. Overall though I’d recommend this as a decent piece of equipment which could literally save your life. Obviously, in addition to being a useful aid, this dive knife is also very capable of serious and even lethal injury if handled carelessly. If you acquire one please use it with caution and discretion and I’m sure it will serve you well for years.

Very sharp, light, and very sharp.Attaches well to leg ( if you have an athletic build) if not will attach to calfOh.... And it's VERY SHARP!!

Overall impressed with the knife for the price. As mentioned it is difficult to remove the knife which in time does loosen slightly. Although I like knowing that it isn't going to come loose on its own. Also if you do not clean and dry the blade it will rust after a few hours. I am happy with my purchase as the prices of other dive knifes were double. I used for spearfishing and it served its purpose of cutting a bit of line and gutting the fish. Good value for money providing you keep it clean and dry

Good knife, but straps to short to fit round leg.Will just fit round forarm.I will use it there, but it will just fit round my 7 year old grand daughter's leg, so don't buy if you want to ware it on your leg

a really good sturdy knife no complaints

It’s a good knife for a beginner like myself . I found it was slightly harder to remove which I didn’t mind. It means it won’t slip out . So far I’ve had no trouble with rust and the edge is still sharp

No soy gran buceador, pero si tuviera que encomendar mi seguridad a la hora de cortar redes donde puedes quedarte enganchado, si tuviera que defenderme de un escualo o abrir una ostra, este sería mi compañero sin duda. Manejable, versátil, discreto. Otro acierto para mí colección.

Habe mir das Messer für meine Schnorchelausflüge zugelegt. Es ist sehr robust und salzwasserfest (was im Meer nicht schlecht ist *gg*). Es ist sehr wertig. Messer hält sehr gut in der Scheide und das herausziehen geht auch einfach. Die Riemen zur Befestigung am Bein könnte vielleicht etwas stärker sein, aber Abzüge gibt es dafür keine, denn bis jetzt halten sie ja gut. Würde es wieder kaufen.

Se adapta bien al gemelo o al brazo. El tamaño es práctico pero la calidad de la cuchilla deja mucho que desear. En la 2a inmersión observé corrosión en la punta i en el filo. Siempre desalo todo...
