NECA - Alien Gorilla figure

I'm so glad neca decided to do the kenner aliens figures as they done well with there kenner predator line so looking forward to other ones they might do this gorilla alien is amazing in detail and is my fave one so if your a aliens and kenner fan id recommend you buy these for your collection this figure comes with a blue facehugger see through dome and original comic that came with the original release

It’s amazing

First off, I just want to say that this figure looks great! The sculpt and paintwork is very good. But there are some problems with this figure.The biggest problem with the one I got was that the joints are far too weak. Worst were the joints in his hips, they pretty much flopped around and made it a little difficult to pose him. He is rather top-heavy and tends to fall backwards too.You can use his tail and knuckles to support him and still get some pretty cool "gorilla-like" poses.Both the domes that came with him looks great. My transparent dome was a bit misformed though but no biggie.The facehugger looks great too.Despite the small problems I still like this guy very much. Though I wish they would put better joints in this guy, I'd say he's worth that!

I'm very happy with this figure. It is very solid and very detailed and I didn't even realize it came with a little face hugger shown at the bottom of the attached picture. This figure is pretty large. I forgot exactly what alien is on the left and the figure on the right is Duke Nukem, both of which are advertised as Neca's 7" style. The gorilla alien is pretty big. I will Agree that the knees are some what weak. I'm still working on finding a good pose for him and with a smaller tail, it's a bit tricky using it for balance. With the alien on the left, I believe it's the AVP warrior, the joints are some what weak but it is light and has a bigger tail. The gorilla alien is probably 2x heavier than the other one.That said I don't find that the joint issues with the gorilla alien are a problem, especially if it will be posed and set on a sturdy surface.The arm joints are stiffer and being called the "gorilla" if like to use them in the pose. I wouldn't let this comments about weak joints deter you.While I'm still giving it 5 stars, I'd like to add that the cranium does come off but I feel this might be intentional. By cranium I mean the black part on top of the head. I think it might be intentional because underneath is bone structure and some other detail but the cranium isn't see-through. I don't have a problem with it falling off but it doesn't snap on or anything.Edit 4/17/2017:So It does seem the figure is having problems standing straight up. I've come home each day to find it has fallen over. I have issues trying to put it in the pictured image because the legs cant go too far forwards. In trying to keep with the gorilla theme Ive decided to put him on all 4's so that he his more balanced.. You can see the pose in the attached pictures and Ive included several figures to show how tall it is in this pose. Duke Nukem is right at 7" talls for scale.

Ottima action figure! Dettagliata e molto somigliante alla sua controparte originale della Kenner degli anni '90. Consigliata soprattutto a chi vuole ampliare o variare la propria collezione dedicata all'assassino più letale dello spazio. La consegna è stata velocissima... Neanche 48 ore dopo averlo ordinato è arrivato il pacco a casa!

mein neuer Favorit der Alien Neca Serie! Der "Gorilla" sieht Sagenhaft aus und erinnert mich an einem König mit seinem Großem Schädel! Er sieht hochgefährlich aus und macht auch sonnst Qualitativ einen Schönen Eindruck. Klare Kaufempfehlung an alle Alien Sammler! 5 Sterne!

I loved that there was a very thoughtful letter attached to the collectible. I purchased this for my teenage son and he will hold it precious forever. Thank you so much for the effort and thought put behind making this.

again, bought this and the mantis along with many others... other reviewers cant seem to easily maneuver it to stand (same with the mantis...) not sure whats wrong with them.. if their challenged or what.. cause this figure and all the others I've received ( quite nicely packaged i might add) stand up really nicely, holding their own weight in great stances and positions just fine! :) not to mention how amazing they look in person. no damage on any of the 4 types i have received.
