Manrose100mm Shower Light/Extractor Fan

Bought this based on reviews and couldn’t be happier. Very quiet fan. It comes with the attachments: chrome or white. It does get a little noisier the longer it is left on but is 1000 times quieter than the fan I had previously. One to note is that the instructions are written in quite a small font so be prepared to get your magnifying glass out!

For the money I paid this is a great unit. Many are priced over the top. This one has everything in the package. The light is clear. The fan isn’t as noisy as I thought it would be. There’s a choice between chrome or white gloss plastic in the box. The extraction rate is great, having said that, I have installed 2 units into one bathroom. Extravagant, but needed as it’s a wet room and quite large.

I bought this to replace a similar extractor fan also manufactured by Manrose. Just be careful if you do this because manrose make two units which are a similar size, this is the smaller one of the two. I bought this by mistake as I had intended to buy the bigger unit, however the fan seems to be the same size.Fitting the unit itself is relatively straightforward, but the electrical connections can be confusing because you will have supplies from the isolation unit and also the pull cord switch, so if you are at all unsure about electrical connections then it may be better that you have this connected by a suitably qualified electrician.Otherwise, it's relatively easy to connect up and the silver bezel can be swapped for a white bezel which is included in the kit. I didn't find that the fit of my light unit to the ceiling was brilliant, so I applied a beading of silicon sealant around the bezel to provide a better seal.It comes with a halogen bulb which I've swapped for a 5 W LED

Very good fan for the price I installed it myself with no hitches the only problem I had was the lamp I broke one of the pins and it was still in the holder which i got out with a pair of longnose pliers there is no problems with this fan if needed I would buy from this company again also arrived on time thanks.

Fan came faulty to start and when I asked foe replacement light fitting was fobbed off with faulty transformer. New transformer did nothing and when asked for new fitting second time company was horrible to deal.witj would not send replacement even though I had agreed to send old one back once replaced in customers house

nice and quiet but it has no external wiring point which seems a bit strange as u have to basically tape the wire to the side within the duct??? I thought by the picturer this was so but had assumed it would not be the case? I was wrong.. It still works fine and is really quiet though to be fair and the price is also great so its not the end of the world. as far as the reliability is concerned I can not say at the moment as it is still new?

Very easy to install, looks good and does the job well.I installed this as a 2nd extractor as steam & moisture was staying within the shower enclosure. Clears the steam & moisture instantly.

Nice product. Unfortunately the fan didn't work so it had to be removed but a replacement was sent immediately. Now installed and working much more quietly than the fan it replaced. Very happy.
