Q: Nowhere can I see what the extraction rate is - i.e. cubic metres/hour - essential info to spec a fan?

Q: Has anyone else experienced an issue that the fan never seems to turn off? Even after adjusting default settings?

This issue occurred for me 5 months after installing. The fan would not turn off. I fixed it by turning the fan off and adjusting the settings to make it less sensitive, and reduced the timer. It worked once more. I left it like this for a couple of days to confirm it was working, then put the settings back the way they were originally. It works fine.

Hi jucatroo I have a small bathroom too, which was very cold. Since fitting this fan my condensation problem has improved considerably. It's vents 95 cubic metres per hour. Set the humistat low and it stays on until bathroom is dry. I also fitted a bigger radiator in bathroom which really helped to cut the condensation forming in the first place. Hope this helps!

The factory setting is 60% relative humidity which is far too low. As an example the relative humidity in London during the summer is over 60% and during the winter is over 80%. Near the coast it is higher. Ours would come on in the night when we left the bedroom window open when it was raining outside. Adjust the setting to 80 or 90% and you should be fine. What's probably happened is the ambient humidity of the day has increased that's all.
