CELLO C2020FS 12v 12 volt LED HD CARAVAN TV FREEVIEW DVD USB MOTORHOME BOAT,20" [Energy Class A]

I bought one of these about two years ago. From elsewhere on Amazon. The sound was always poor but I got over that by using it with a pair of computer speakers. After a year the dvd player packed up and a repair would have been more costly than the original tv. I got around that by using a stand alone 12v dvd player harnessed to the tv. I was beginning to think about a trailer for my motorhome to carry the associated wiring looms.A quick search of Amazon suggested that Cello had improved their build quality and the alternative makes are three times the price so here I am again with a new Cello.The sound is a bit tinny but it is louder so I have high hopes.Only downside, when I moved my old unit from the motorhome to the house, planning to use it as a second pc monitor the bumping about put the dvd player right. At least for the time being.So if my new, louder, fully functioning Cello fails, I shall simply thump it until it works again. Until then I live in hope.

On the plus side, this is a 20" TV that works well on 12V with a relatively low current drain. The colour is good and reasonably sharp when viewed at the "correct angle". However, the field of view is relatively narrow and my wife and I found it difficult to angle it so that we could both have a reasonable view when sat on opposite sides of our 'van lounge. The sound is also incredibly low volume. Even with the volume at 100%, we struggled to hear it over the sound of rain beating on the 'van roof. We'll need to get a set of (rechargeable) external powered speakers to overcome this. A minor issue is that the stand is fixed to the TV by three screws, which need to be removed to pack the TV away in its box for travelling. This won't be an issue if you hang the set on a wall bracket or don't intend to use the original box to store it.

You have to buy an extra cable for running off the battery in the caravan . It is not supplied and costs nearly £20

Just what we needed very pleased with it. Should have bought one a bit larger as the screen size appears to be smaller than our old 17" square telly. Sound a bit naff but we can put up with that. Overall we are pleased and the 12 volt is a big advantage. Good picture quality.

Really happy with our purchase. My wife says the quick setup button is so easy even I might one day be able to use it. I doubt that as I am not allowed near the remote. The picture is clear and the sound is about right for this type of television. Don’t expect mega bass and a full surround sound, that’s not what you are buying. Do expect a great picture and a perfect addition to your Motorhome or caravan. On top of that it’s made in England.

Installed on yacht with AVIOR - VT300 marine omnidirectional aerial & the supplied aerial amplifier (note no signal withput amplifier being powered up). Great result, all freeview channels with great signal.For price great result.

Good TV works well at home Iv yet to try onsite had a problem with the delivery to Guernsey its nothing new, sound is poor without external speakers
