What is the power source for the satellite speakers?
do the sound bar and sub woofer have connections for the speaker outputs from a 5.1 channel amp?

Each item; the sound bar, sub woofer, and each of the two rear speakers have AC power cords.  There are no speaker wires and no connections for speaker wires.  Everything is wireless other than the video/sound connections for the sound bar (HDMI x 3, analog, optical, USB, bluetooth, wireless or wired network).  No standard speaker connections.

How do i calibtate the back speakers so it gas more of a louder surround sound feel.  right now even on movie mode the back speakers are quiet.  f

The rear speakers have issues with low volume.  You can read the discussion here:  https://community.sony.com/t5/Home-Theater-Products/HT-RT5-low-volume/td-p/530127.  To a certain extent, you can manually adjust the volume by going to HOME/SETUP/AUDIO SETTINGS/ SPEAKER SETTING/ LEVEL/ SURROUND LEFT/RIGHT.  You can change the level from -6.0 db (low) to +6.0 db (high).One other thing you may want to check out:  the front speakers for this system is rather thin, and they don't give you the breadth of surround sound.  You may have to tweak the distance of the front speakers as well.  In our case, we had to artifically (manually) adjust the distance farther away from the autocal distance to give us a better sound.  Also, depends on your Set Top Box, you may have to adjust the Volume Control from Fixed to Variable.  Also, make sure your Audio Format is set to Surround, and Dynamic Range is set to Heavy. Can this be turned on via my tv (samsung) remote or automatically when my tv is turned on or must i use the remote that comes with the device?

Yes it does. HOWEVER, it takes close to 1 minute after turning on the Samsung TV for the first time for the HDMI CEC link to be fully established. Also, if you have standby power mode enabled on the Samsung TV, the re-connection on powering on the TV is very unreliable. For this reason, I have turned off the standby mode on the TV. If it is setup correctly, not only can the sound bar volume be controlled through the TV remote, the sound bar turns on/off with the TV.
