CAREFRESH COLOURS PINK PREMIUM PET BEDDING 10lt

Not much you can say on paper bedding but i will try to give a good review...Purchased for the use of our two pet rats. Picked pink as they are female, adds a splash of colour to the cage which is nice. I have a large cage base, roughly 80cm x 50cm and half a bag of the bedding when expanded and broken up gave a nice layer on the bottom of the tray so one bag should last 2 changes. This all depends how much you like at the bottom of your cage though but i put enough to give an even, thin layer as most of the time rats spend off the floor. Theres no strong odour to the bedding but is clumpy when opened, best way i found is to pick up a handful and rub it between your hands to break it up. Not sure if i would buy again as ive only had my rats a couple of days so no real chance to test it out yet but so far so good.

Got it for my messy little male Hedgie who walks in his own poo and refuses to let me toilet train him. I used to just use newspaper bits but he eats cat food so his poop smells so bad I had to change the paper at least every 2 days. With this, I could change the bedding every week or more. And he loves digging through it and rearranging it. Hasn't tried to eat it either, which happens quite frequently with him. Because you don't have I change it so often, it's actually by as pricy as it seems because one bag can a few months. Would definitely buy this again.

this is the first time i bought this product, it does make the cage smell nicer and the pink really adds colour! But it is expensive for such a small amount! I have five cages, and one pack was JUST enough to clean each cage ONCE. if this product was £3 a pack I would say it is definately worth it, but nearly £9. - not so much! The amount should be at least doubled to make up for the price!

Carefresh really is the best bedding for small animals, & as ever this bag has delivered on all Carefresh promises.....neutralising of odour, safe & soft for my hamster to snuggle in, & looks lovely in her cage....

Looks very attractive and it is absorbant. I do think that it is overpriced however, it smells a bit too and I don't mean when it's soiled, I mean right out the pack. Pretty much all bedding has an odor so it's not a big deal. I will continue buying this brand because it's good for my gerbils and...pretty colours. I do feel like I'm paying over the odds though.

I'm really pleased I bought this bedding for my hammies, they're way healthier and happier, and behave like normal hamsters now that they have carefresh instead of the cheap stuff. At first I was worried that my dwarfs were eating the bedding, but actually they were storing it in their pouch to make a den, which is actually the first time I've seen them do that since I got them 4 months ago. As the product advertises, it had much less of a pungent smell when it's been left in the cage for a long time, and it's easier to clean up at the end of the week as well.The only criticism I'd make is that it's fairly expensive in comparison to other brands. However, that's the price I guess you've gotta pay for quality!

Arrived in good time and does the job! Makes my hamsters cage look lovely and colourful as well as obviously providing my hamster with safe and warm bedding!
