A lot safer to use than traditional punch down tool; I had slipped and sliced my thumb with those. Also beats it out in terms of speed, ease of use and I had 1 super short wire from wall gang that I was able to terminate using this. Blade is sharp and cut all wires in 1 shot, no need to bend wires till they fall off! Very much worth it and very good quality.

This tool is easy to use. Traditional punch down tools are fine, but can be fiddly when one isn’t running cable every day or every week. Last night I redid most of my old connections to a patch panel to a new panel with insets for keystone jacks. It was so easy and each connection was right the first time! I realize that with more experience and training I could get a lot faster and yield better results, so I blame myself rather than my old tools, but I am so relieved to have a tool that is so easy to use and reliable!
