They are very rich and smooth tasting and these ones have a wonderful strong hazelnut taste. You get nine chocolates in a box this size. Each chocolate is a fair size.....bigger than those in a box of cadburys for example. These chocolates are very unassuming looking when you first open the packet there are no fancy shapes or piping just nine dark squares with a light dusting of cocoa on each one. But what they lack in looks they totally make up for in taste. They really have to be tried to be appreciated. I would recommend these to true chocolate lovers (by that I mean us chocolate snobs and yes I do count myself among you. In fact I may be queen of the chocolate snobs!) For example whilst I adore these my husband says they are 'ok' (which is his way of saying he'd eat them if there was no other chocolate in the house but he'd rather have dairy milk thank you very much!). So an appreciation of good quality chocolate is really required to enjoy these the most. The big bonus with these chocolates is that they are gluten, wheat and dairy free and suitable for vegetarians and vegans. Some of the varieties are also quite low in sugar so if you just want a chocolate now and again and are on a sugar restricted or low carb diet these would be suitable. I have a relative who is diabetic and can eat one of these without his blood sugar rising so in that respect they are great. Also because they are so rich you can easily eat one at a time and feel satisfied (I eat one a day and am able to put the packet away in the cupboard without it whispering sweetly to me from inside the cupboard to go back and scoff the lot!). I would recommend all the flavours as I have tried them all and they are all amazing.
