Invision Smart Case Cover for iPad Air 2 - Dark Blue

I've had five different iPads since they were first launched (sounds excessive but they were dispersed around the family as each new version was released). For the last four, including my recently acquired iPad Air 2, I've always bought these Invision cases. They fit great, are durable and are 25% of the cost of Apple's official case. It really is a no brainier. After a while a couple of them have frayed a little around the edge of the top cover but it's OK for the case to do that if it protects the iPad and is functional - which it is. They should be more widely available but at least they can be acquired on Amazon. Buy with confidence. Top case!

Overall this is a good case. I like the colour (I went for the dark blue), it's comfortable to hold (not slippy, nice texture), the inside cover is very soft and also nice to touch when it is folded back, and the case holds the iPad very securely - but allows it to be removed without too much hassle, too. The case covers all the corners, and the iPad seems pretty safe inside this case. The iPad also wakes on opening the cover, which is always satisfying. It's not quite perfect though; I could happily have done without the embossed silver "Invision" label on the front, and the case doesn't fit quite perfectly (the top cover comes slightly too far across, and one of the folds on the front is just a little mis-shapen). I'm probably being overly picky here, though; for £9.99 it's excellent value, and I'd happily buy another one. Of course, I've only had it a few days, so I can't comment on the durability, although I do have a previous incarnation of this case for an iPad 3, and that is still fine 16 months later. I'd give this 4.5 if I could.

Wasn’t sure about the case at first with it being a lot cheaper than the others, but when it arrived ( next day) it looked really good and secure for the iPad to live in, so much so that I have changed it for an old one I had for day to day use, and the new case will go on holidays with me, it looks good and is much thinner and still giving protection to the iPad. Thank you.

A good quality value product, that fits well and looks the part. I am really pleased with this product. I have nothing negative to say about it. Two months into using it and it continues to fit snugly and remains in as new condition. There maybe better products out there, but having done my research I would doubt it at this price.The cover clips onto the back of the iPad, with the usual magnetic front which folds in sections to act as a stand.I love the colour, more of a french blue than navy, but haven't seen the other colours face to face, so may have been equally happy with those too.

I have had this cover for a month or so now. The material on one of the corners has come away a bit but it doesn't look obvious and the corners are still holding the iPad firmly in.I love this case. It seems tough and well made and I like the fact that the cover folds when opening it, ie it isn't a stiff cover. It looks good too and I would buy another if I needed it.

Early days but a good fit and seems to protect the iPad in most of the important places although screen protector might be a useful supplement as unlike most slot in covers which tend to sit a little proud there is minimal protection for the screen with this one when it is open although magnetic closure keeps it shut when closed. Will be interesting to see how the corner protectors hold up over time. Stand method is much the same as the official Apple case and seems to work well. At this price point very happy

Bought this instead of a proper Apple one and I am generally very happy with it, a couple of minor issues I have which are;The cutouts are not designed for the Air 2, for example:Cutout for headphone jack is off-center,Cutout for power switch is off-center,These is a cutout in the center of the top edge, which has no purpose.There is a small hole on the back which has no purpose. the microphone is next to Camera aperture.The cutout for the volume buttons is much longer than needed, as the Air 2 doesn't have a rotate lock switch.When the case is closed, there is a clear gap between the magnets in the lid, this allows dust to get in these gaps, and 3 lines of dust are always on the screen.When the case is fully open, the 'hinge' is too relaxed, meaning that the flap is longer than the main body which makes is awkward to hold, as I keep having to switch my grip.And where the case clips over the pad in the corners, the quality of the finish is disappointing.Overall, this isn't a bad case for the money. But I will probably only use it until i bite the bullet and get a proper branded one from Apple store.

I have been using this case for just over six months and found that it is very good value for money. Not only is it slim so easily fits in a bag, it has a hard back for protection and fits the iPad snuggly so it doesn't wobble about. It is four fold which, having experienced three fold cases in the past, is much better and easier to use in different positions with out the folded case getting in the way. The magnet in the front of the cover means it stays in the stand position and locks your iPad automatically when folded shut. After a while it does start to get tatty and threads come loose however, I would replace with the same case due to the value for money. All round good product which I would definitely recommend.
