Top-Notch K&F 58mm Variable ND Filter: Perfect for iPhone Videography
The media could not be loaded. I got this K&F 58mm variable ND filter (1.5-10 Stops) to use on my iPhone 15 Pro Max via a Tiffen filter mount. The presentation of this filter is first class and second to none. I was very surprised by the effort put into the presentation, from the included magnetic box to the wallet that holds the filter. It really is top-notch.The filter itself looks amazing too, with the metal orange pusher which makes rotating the VND easy, and it is very smooth when rotating.I'm using this filter primarily for video to allow the correct shutter speed when recording 24fps on bright days. Previously, I had purchased the ND2-32, but it was faulty and I found the 1-5 stops were not enough on brighter days. K&F customer service was excellent; they replaced my faulty filter immediately and even sent me a replacement filter box for another filter I had purchased, as it had been slightly creased during delivery.Overall, I find this to be a very high-quality VND with no discernible color shift or loss of detail. My recordings look identical to those without the filter, except now I'm getting the correct shutter speed for my chosen frame rate.Another great thing about this filter is the ability to shoot very long exposures with my iPhone when capturing images of waterfalls, cloud movement, light trails, etc.Highly recommended.

Last TWO Stops Seem Useless
Might return yet, unsure. So all my lenses are F1.8, and included in my filmmaking gear is a 24mm F1.8.I tested this filter (1.5-10 stop X Series). I want loads of bokeh so keep it wide open, well, it seems that the last stop is a complete write off as has an X (they lie), so I am left with 9 stops, and the 9th stop doesn't really do much in terms of block light on a sunny day outdoors, as I was still 1.7-2.0 over exposed. Now I have a few options:Change my ISO (can't really because I'm shooting S-log and my camera's base ISO was already at 800, any lower and we have grain due to S-log settings).Compensate and change to F2.8 for daytime stuff (I didn't want to lose bokeh).Return the ND filter and try a 20 stop one, because they are clearly misleading people. They should advertise this is a 9 stops at best, and tell people the final stop is basically just a big black X. In fact, their ND2-32 seems way darker, and it's less stops, weird eh.

Excellent quality and works really well
What struck me, even before seeing the filter, was the attention to detail with regards to the packaging. Starting with a beautifully crafted box, a handy protective leatherette case in which the filter came wrapped in a small plastic protective pouch. The filter is made of quality materials: a metal frame with two hard rubber grips: one grip to secure the filter to your lens and a second rubber grip to select the perfect neutral density for your lighting situation: not too loose, not too tight. The addition of a large tab on the ring makes it easy for your fingers to quickly rotate the filter and avoid twisting the filter right off the lens. But most importantly, this product is constructed with high quality optical glass. The results? After multiple tests shooting photos and videos, there were no signs of vignetting in the corners and no visible image distortion. And no “X” pattern throughout the entire density range. Wow, this company goes all out to show how serious they are about making quality products. I’m very happy with my purchase!EDIT: After thorough testing outdoors in bright daylight, I did notice some slight vignetting at the “darkest” setting. Seeing as I shoot mostly landscapes, this is really not an issue for me.

very helpful in day shots
my camera (canon 200d) before adding the filter only had a white photo that was overexposed and i had to turn the iso to 1000 to get an atleast viewable picture but it came with so much grain but with this filter i could have the iso at 100 and get crisp photos without a bright photo i absolutely love this filter

great filter
This is a really nice filter, definitely worth getting especially if you don't already have any ND filters. I'm using it on the stock lens that came with my Canon M50 and it is very fun to play with. The lens itself looks and feels high quality, and is easy to adjust. The case it comes with is nice but rather large.
