PKR BP Ink, BLK, MP, OLD, x2.0

Easy ordering and speedy delivery. However product quality did not meet expectations. First refill was inserted and all looked good however by about 5 hours use the refill failed and refused to function. I assumed a faulty refill and proceeded to insert the 2nd refill. Again all looked good to start however by about 1 hour of use it too failed. I know they were cheap and as such I should not expect the same quality of original which functioned perfectly for nearly 5 years, however failing within days is just not good enough.

Not totally sure about these. I bought a pack of 2 - one worked ok to start with, then after 2 months it stopped writing clearly / faded. I've learnt my lesson before and always take 2 pens with me when at conferences!!! - I swapped over to another pen with the 2nd refill in and it is still working ok more than 2 months later.Neither refills have heavy use, so maybe this is just a one-off blip, not sure if I might try another merchant next time I order. Perhaps Newell Rubbermaid could give me and anyone else reading this review the assurance that the product they are selling is genuine Parker and this is one-off.

Despite being advertised in the Amazon UK site as original Parker refills ( which they no doubt are) it is not until you open the package that you see written on the side of the refill "for use in India only"! The diameter of leading edge of the refill is fractionally larger than the ones I have in my Parker biro and consequently jam when trying to retract. I could have sent them back but couldn't be bothered and instead filed the leading edge down with a nailfile!!

I did order these refills over 18 months ago but the first one had only just run out and have now put the other refill in my parker pen and it only works intermittently so you don't get a good flow when writing as it keeps stopping like its empty. My tip would be don't buy a pack of two unless you intend to use them soon after buying although I wouldn't have expected this poor quality from a parker refill when it was still in its wrapper.

I purchased 2 blister packs of the above refills in black in, the first 2 refills ran dry within a month, now the 2nd pack of 2 have done exactly the same, I have since purchased another blister pack of 2 from a well known supermarket, (what a difference), the ink is actually black, much denser than the one's I purchased from Pen Sale I will not deal with this company in the future.Still waiting for a refund..

Rolling nicely and putting down the ink like a little charmer. Much better than the unbranded ones I previously bought in the interest of saving a bit of money. I'll be buying the real Parers like these from now onwards. The feel is so much better. Less of a scrape on the paper. Recommended!

I shouldn't need to use a refill until my pen runs out of ink for the first time. The refills didn't come in a twin pack as shown in the picture but two separate blister packs wrapped in newspaper. Having said that; it's probably better because now I don't have to open both and risk one drying out.

The ink looks really good and it lasts long as well
