No, you cannot. There’s a metal filtering screen in the base of the steeper.

It’s 500ml (from T2 website). That’s 16.8oz. The standard bottom dispensing tea infuser size (16-18 oz most common). I’d take off the .8oz for extra space at the top as you won’t fill to the brim. You can make one large 16oz mug or two 8-9oz cups depending on how full you fill it.

No way should you do so. It is plastic and non microwavable.
