Nordic Supplements 1000 mg Pharmaceutical Grade Omega 3 Fish Oil with Vitamin D - 60 Capsules

My normal brand of omega oil that I get during pregnancy was out of stock so I found this brand and thought I'd give it a go. It has the added benefit of vitamin D being added, so I think I'll stick to this brand now! I take it alongside Pregnacare (without omega 3) with no issue.Pros:- Easy to swallow regardless of the size as it's a fairly narrow, gel capsule that just slips down (but is the length of a 2p coin)- One month's supply at 2 capsules a day for an adult- Contains the highest quality "pure" omega 3 so suitable during pregnancy and breastfeeding (which they mention a lot in their listing)- Fairly good value compared to similar products- Has added vitamin D, which is hugely beneficial right now and a great supplement for anybody to take, especially in the WinterCons:- Fishy aftertaste if you suffer with acid reflux like I do, but it's hard to avoid this with omega 3 supplements- Isn't vegetarian (fish oil and gelatin)... Well, not sure what you expect from this sort of supplement! But wanted to mention the obviousSo for pregnant women, this is perfect. I feel really good that I'm getting the extra omega 3 needed for my baby's best development, and also boosting my body too, with vitamin D being a major plus as I wanted to take extra anyway. So for expectant mum's, I highly recommend these; a trusted brand with trusted sources.

I've used many fish oils over the years and Nordic oil is the only fish oil i've encountered that does not cause any adverse reactions providing i take the recommended daily dosage of 2 capsules (more than 2 causes abdominal pain). I have a sensitive digestive system and my body did not detect any rancidity, pleasant tasting, no disguised flavourings (to mask rancidity) which is rare in a fish oil and i had a beneficial outcome. Nordic oil must continue to produce at least one capsuled product that remains unflavoured. Could Nordic oil improve? Continue to improve on purity levels with PV, AV, TOTOX as i would want a product that does not deteriorate during storage, other than that continue with your winning formula!!!

I used to feel sick when I took fish oil tablets, bought these to try and get back into good habits and also wanted to vit D. I dont get nauseous atall with these (I take 2 a day as the recommended amount), and I've noticed a difference in my hair and skin which i wasn't expecting (I did also changed my diet around the same time so not sure which to attribute it to but worth mentioning nevertheless). Theres alot of conflicting research out there about whether or not omega-3s are good for you in supplement or not. Make your own opinion about it but I only get benefits from taking these!

I recently purchased “Name” this is predominately because of the combination of Omega 3 and Vitamin D which I suspect like most people are not getting enough off. I live in the UK and hence probably always deficient in Vitamin D, I won’t go into the finer details of the British weather, and also not keen on Oily Fish for Omega 3 (and I don’t fancy eating 100s of walnuts a day as a substitute). Therefore, this product is a great source for both these key nutrients. The capsules are also remarkably easy to swallow due to the outer coating and shape. I would recommend this product for anyone like me that is deficient in these key nutrients. I would also say it is quite rare to see these two together on their own without all the other vitamins and minerals which you can get from a varied diet.

This is the best fish oil in the market you can find and it is high quality product,smells and tastes nice,it improves memory,sleep and it has lots of other health benefits,I will recommend it and will buy again.

Honestly, I thought these capsules would be ok from the product reviews, but the near instant fishy burps kill it for me. I even took a capsule after a meal. The fishiness lasted for several hours and made me feel disgusting. I really liked the Magnesium Citrate tablets from this brand, so I thought I would try the fish oil/Vit D combo. Now I'm not sure I'll be able to tolerate finishing the bottle. I am super disappointed.

These tables are great and a perfect way to get fish oil and vitamin D into your diet. You really know how good they were when you stop taking them.

Omega 3 tablets are fantastic for joint pains and for dry skin fully recommend.
