Postie broke the old ones so picked up these. Fantastic small springs but fiddly to fit without the recommended tool

Didn't fit and expensive.
Didn't fit my letter box at all, these plastic pins are really short, about half the length of the ones they were meant to be replacing and they have a hex head whereas the originals had a square head. Ridiculous price for about 2 grammes of plastic too. These were the only replacement letterbox springs I could find on Amazon of this type so be really sure they'll fit. It seems I'll have to buy a whole new letter box instead just because the existing springs have gone.
