It works, but the software is a bit clunky. The hardware bits are fine. Connection to the wifi network was very straightforward.Some features, such as 2-way audio and pan/tilt work only while in wifi and don't over mobile network using the app.The app is quite rubbish, but it does it's job more or less.The motion sensor is a bit trigger happy: will fire with subtle changes of light (maybe a cloud covers the sun, etc) so it's unusable as alarm due to the amount of false positives.The sound sensor is quite the opposite. Deaf as a log. It can't be really used as baby monitor as the alarm takes a while to fire and I could already hear the baby crying quite loud when I'd get the notification. Fortunately that wasn't the purpose of me buying the camera.The night vision is quite impressive though, so good to watch the baby, check if they've turned around.My take is: this is OK for surveillance. Watching a domestic employee (check legalities first), kids while they play or sleep, anti-burglary (for taking snapshots when movement is detected without relying on the alarm notifications)This is not fit for purpose for: an alarm system on its own, a baby monitor.

Absolute rubbish!!!! I have other zmodo cameras that are great but this one just kept dropping the WiFi and had to keep resetting it. Most it stayed connected for was 2 days. I persevered for a year then threw it in the bin. Shame I couldn’t get my money back for this piece of rubbish!!!

Set it up easy enough and it worked, but then there is always a out of wi fi range error and I can not connect using the free software which gets terrible reviews on iTunes. I tried re setting the unit and again it worked for some time maybe 1 hour but when you then go to remote connect you get the same error message out of wifi range lo bandwidth. All other devices are working in my house, speed is good. I'm probably going to send it back
