Excellent for the price.
In short:It works well, it arrived very quickly, a slightly disappointing read transfer performance (despite the claims) but overall a perfect card for most uses.My experienceI purchased this for my wife Hudle 2 and chose it frankly because of cosmetics: her tablet is black and the Qumox shows less when slotted in... I believed that in real use the performance claimed were more than enough. However at the same time the Sandisk Ultra 32 GB micro SD of my old tablet Samsung Tab 2 died.I still use this tablet since it still works really well and don't yet feel the need to change, but the Hudl 2 is a much more performing tablet (truly a little gem actually).I did a quick test on the two cards: the Samsung EVO 32 GB costs a little more but proved to be a better buy.All in all the Qumox does its job well but its write speed is a bit disappointing.Test DetailsI tested both on various HW namely the Hudl 2, the Samsung Tab 2 and did a quick check on my laptop. On Android devices tests are easily done by downloading various applications. I used A1 SD benchmark. On the laptop I simply checked the continuous read performance by simply transferring a large file.I did this only on the Qumox card as it essentially confirmed the Hudl 2 performance. Results [Speed in MB/s. Labels: W = write, R = read)]Hudl 2 - RAM: 7,486, Internal card: 22.58(W), 91.5(R), Qumox: 15.05(W), 19.77(R), Samsung: 18.96(W), 33.62(R)Tab 2 - RAM: 670, Internal card: 22.55(W), 33.48(R), Qumox: 13.10(W), 13.52(R), Samsung: 13.57(W), 15.30(R)Both card worked well and seem well made. Both cards exceed the class 10 minimum specs. (10MB/s write which is needed for full HD recording)Both can exceed their published minimum declared speed.Neither could reach their published maximum declared speed, but before judging on this one must be aware that the UHS-1 standards does support different transfer modes (namely SDR12, SDR25 SDR50/DDR50 and optionally SDR104) which are not necessarily used by specific devices and their OSs.I still think Qumox plays a little with this feature tough, as the declared performance would only be achievable in SDR104 transfer mode. In reality the Samsung performed better whilst claiming lessUndoubtedly The Samsung EVO is the better card especially for the little price difference. It also claims excellent environmental performance and would probably withstand better xRay scanning, which is why it ended in the Tab 2.Which is the absolute best buy however really depends on the use!On the Hudl 2 the Qumox only provides 79% of the performance at best for 88% of the cost (on my purchasing experience). But on the Tab 2 it could be the better buy, reaching 88% of performance at worse! In my case I should use the Samsung on the HUDL 2 since it can extract better performance. But actually in real use there is no sensible difference, so I still used the Qumox on the Hudl 2 for pure cosmetics reasons and the Samsung on the Tab 2 for I believe it could withstand better xRay scanning at airports...
