L'Oreal Cosmetics Kristina Bazan Eye KitThis so-called kit is in reality simply two products in one box. Each is a good product, with a jet black mascara and a jet black liquid eye liner with a fine marker tip. The kit's USP is that it's branded 'Kristina Bazan', who I hadn't heard of before; it turns out she started beauty blog 5 years ago as a teenager in Switzerland and has since gone on to become a published author, singer and major fashion and beauty influencer - a digital It-girl, as she describes herself.This set is part of Bazan's first collection of cosmetics for L'Oreal which also includes an eye shadow palette (smoking nudes), lip kit ( L'Oreal Cosmetics Kristina Bazan Lip Kit ) and nail kit ( L'Oreal Cosmetics Kristina Bazan Nail Kit ). With this eye kit, Bazan has picked 2 existing L'Oreal products and put them together in a box so people starting out in make-up can have a steer from an experienced beauty blogger on what products to buy. They would make a super gift for someone who likes the dramatic black look and, if you like both these items yourself then buying them in this set does represent an excellent saving.=== THINGS I LIKE ABOUT THIS PRODUCT ===* These are both great products and buying them in this set rather than individually means you get the eye liner practically free - individually the eye liner RRP is £6.99 and the mascara £10.99* The mascara is a super jet black producing extra volume and length without clumping or flaking and lasts well* The eye liner produces a lovely charcoal black line which, once dry, doesn't fade or bleed* Both produces come off easily with eye make-up remover=== NIGGLES ===* There's nothing whatsoever to make this a 'kit' of any sort - it is simply two regular products put together into one 'Kristina Bazan' branded box; there are no instructions on the box, just the ingredients of the individual products* The eye liner is a bit tricky to use because the marker tip produces only a slender line, and the liquid liner is quite runny so can bleed slightly into any lines or pores in the few moments before it dries* The mascara isn't waterproof which means you'll have to be careful not to sweat too much if wearing it on a night out in case it bleedsFor sale at the time of writing this review at £11.99.

L'Oreal products are one of my favourites. The mascara is fantastic, it glides onto the lashes easily and separates them to give a lengthening effect without big lumps of mascara. The eyeliner is easy to apply (with a bit of practice and a steady hand!). The eyeliner gives a good dark colour which lasts the day. I find that I am sensitive to some eye products but I find L'Oreal eyeliner and mascara are OK and get no irritation nor puffiness. I would always choose a L'Oreal mascara in preference to other brands.Edited review: I have been using the mascara for about 7 weeks now and it is ready for renewal. It has just started to clump over the last few days and is more difficult to apply. I am surprised at how much it has dried out in such a short time. Usually I get about 3 months from a mascara. Therefore I have reduced the review from 5 to 4 stars. The mascara still lasts for the day.

This is a brilliant multi buy if you need both a new mascara and eyeliner. I love these mascara by L'oreal and usually pay around the £10.00 mark for this one and the eye liners are about £7.00, so you are almost getting the eyeliner free.This is a black eyeliner that has a very fine applicator, so achieving a professional look is easy. This eyeliner is very black and whilst I love the product I think it is a bit harsh for me and perhaps ageing too. My daughter absolutely loves it and says it is one of the best she has sampled. Easy to remove with a make up wipe or even good old soap and water.The mascara is absolutely fabulous, very balck again and gave my lashes loads of volume with just one coat. Best of all no clumps,due to the rubberised wand, it separated my lashes as it coated them. This is a brilliant set a da brilliant price, really recommend.
