Very good service and a Excellent product

Not often do I write reviews for products, but this product has exceeded my expectations, I had expected it to be messy and difficult to use , and for it eventually to end up in a cupboard beside the yogurt maker and the other novelty items, only to come out once or twice a year....How wrong can you be , it now sits out in the Kitchen and has become a favourite of all the family used on average once a week. Easy to use? ..well I had expected a few disasters I can honestly say its never failed , yes I have got better after a few weeks of use , but even at the start everyone was impressed. We use it for savoury gluten free Crepes and its amazing how far 2 eggs and some flour can go , feed the family for pennies. As others have said its easy to clean , I sue it on some kitchen roll which makes cleaning up really easy. Its also a bit of fun to watch your food getting made this way. Only criticism is that the tools particularly the spreader is low quality and could be better. However that saying it still gets 5 stars as a great addition to out family kitchen.

it was early in the morning and i was making crepes in a pan but it just wasn't doing it for me i needed something that didn't have any edges so i could lift and move the crepes and this product is a really nice and simple machine, it's so easy to set up and cook with, it comes with recipes which are simple delicious i should of bought this a long time ago! it's perfect for kids and adults and tools really are good quality apart from the brush used for spreading butter or oil it sort of...well..melted so i would encourage them to manufacture a better version but overall a really nice product.

I bought this as a gift for my mum and dad and they have found it absolutely marvellous. My dad is a big pancake fan and is in his element with it. I went round for lunch to test the pancakes as a form of quality control and they were delicious - had ham and cheese and lemon/sugar (yes - made a bit of a pig of myself I'm afraid). The equipment is easy to use and comes with nifty little tools. As one reviewer noted the plate does tend to burn the brush when putting oil on, but this is only a tiny issue. You need to be quick to spread the batter as another reviewer points out and I am sure with more practice one can become more accomplished. I am not adverse to an untidy fringe! It is easy to clean as in one's enthusiasm some batter may slip down the side. I would recommend this item and I am going to buy one for myself and then everyday can be pancake day! As they say 'the proof of the pancake is in the eating'??

Over the years I have spent a fortune on frying pans to hopefully achieve a great pancake, they all state non stick but that does not last long even when you use the thick plastic spatulas to stop scratching. Well... after having this for months now it is still looking like new and it is used quite often. It cooks the perfect pancake and on a lower setting it make a great omelette, it's basically fool proof, my girls have pancakes more often now not just on pancake day and they love it. It cleans off beautifully the temperature adjustment is great for changing from thick American pancakes to crepes. Just one thing, it would have been nice to perhaps have the utensils in a rubber rather than wood as it was quite splintery and the bristle brush lost a few hairs on the plate when adding oil. Thank you Andrew James, I won't hesitate in buying more of your items.

Before buying the product, I have read a lot of the reviews available and was quite looking forward to having the product.The product:Being French and living in the uk for more than 10years now, a crepe maker was something I have missed for a very long time. The product itself was very disappointing , very light, the quality and finished is not great ... be aware!!! Something that disappointed me very much was that the edge of the surface was not slightly elevated to avoid over spilling the batter as you are making the crepes, I took that for granted as I have never seen one in France without.The delivery:I have paid the cheapest delivery for the item which is about £8. I was hoping that they might deliver the product on a time that I would be at home. But I knew that it would probably not happen and that I would have to collect it myselft from one of the delivery service's centres.What I did not realised is that their only centre was 45min drive ONE WAY from my postcode, which I could not have imagined!! I mean who would? They try to deliver it to your address three times and then you will have to collect it yourself or you could have it re-delivered but you can only choose the day but no time slot. So if you live in Greater Manchester and you order that then be aware the centre to collect the product is in Middleton so unless you live close, or you are at home all day or you have a free supply of petrol it might be worth getting a more expensive delivery solution or buy the crepe maker from another supplier either closer to you or which has not got only one centre but a few that allow the customer the shortest journey as possible, so you won't pay for a delivery and then in addition pay again a lot more for petrol, to collect the product.Anyway, just thought I would share my experience as if I have known I would not have bought the product at all.Would I recommend it? No, not from my experience. Hope that was useful.

Easy to set up and use. Cooked 284 American style pancakes on it as well for a big catering event and it coped really well despite being on so long. Absolutely chuffed with this purchase. Has saved me slaving over four hot pans! Also hoping to take it away with us in the caravan etc. Thrilled. Would definitely recommend.

Great size! Great machine. I have loved using the machine and can’t wait to try it out making Dosa. First panic was a flop, I pushed too hard with the spreader but then …. then I quickly got the hang of it and now can make thin french style crepes. Always wanted one. Wish I’d got one sooner
