Q: Would this be ideal to sit in for 8 hours a day? I will be working from home 4 days a week.

This is going to be mainly down to opinion. In my opinion, yes the chair is fantastic, it's one of the most comfortable chairs you will find other than going down the ergonomic office chair route.

Q: are the more expensive models more comfortable or are they just a different colour?

In the same model range the more expensive chairs are real leather rather than PU leather. I cannot comment on ergonomics or comfort of other models - but I have the ICON and its a decent, comfortable chair - they come with pillows to attach for lumbar support.

Q: Is there a natural curve in the this chair for your lumbar? Or do I need to use the cushion?
