Was looking for a pouch as one of the car magazines were doing a require with mixed results. Came across a box and searched here and found this.I can normally unlock the car from 5-6 meters away.With the key in this box, 1 inch away from the handle, no unlocking at all.I now religiously place my car keys in this as soon as I get back home.One because thieves run a cable through the post box to get close to keys to intercept the signal.Two, I now know where my keys are always. No more searching which is great.Very well made box and has a secure fitting top.Four car keys, house keys and wallet.

I actually think this looks great and fits in nicely on a sideboard. The quality has been better than I expected having seen a few negative reviews about that, I can't fault it and we have had it for some time now. Most importantly it works and has plenty of space for many car keys.

Smaller than it looks, modern car keys are very large, so check before you buy

Been using this for 18 months and yet to have a car stolen!Nice pretty little box. Easy to use and well made. When the keys are in and it’s locked neither of our keyless cars can be opened.

Nice design and black colour, big enough for lots of key fobs but small enough to sit in a discrete place, and blocks all signals from escaping the box when fully closed. Strurdy and good quality construction, good value for money.

The box looks quite nice and appears to be quite sturdy. However, I would prefer if it actually did what it was intended to. Firstly, I put my car keys which have an AirTag on them in the box and securely closed it. I checked on the app to find the keys which it detected straight away. I then moved further and further away and managed to get into the next room, approx. 8m away before it lost the signal. As soon as I walked back towards it, it picked the signal up again! Concerned about this, I thought I would get into the car and see whether the fob signal was being successfully blocked. Unsurprisingly, as soon as I pressed the start button, the vehicle started. I moved the box over to the passenger seat and tried again, successfully starting the engine. I then put the box on the backseat and tried again, which also successfully started the engine. It was only when I took the box out of the vehicle and closed the door, that it failed to start the engine, but it also does that with the key on its own, so no difference to normal. I am very disappointed with the performance of this product, especially as it is sold by a well known security company. I would not recommend this to anyone that is hoping to protect their vehicle keys from security savvy and determined thieves.

I bought the Yale box yesterday, received it today (Prime) and tested it immediately. I unlocked my car, then once inside the car I put the key inside the box and closed the box. I put the box on the dashboard, and tried to start the car but to no avail (see photos of dashboard messages). My car couldn’t detect any key signal (message said “key missing”, despite the key being inches away, literally inside the car).Yale is a well known brand, with a solid reputation, hence the reason why we went for this particular box. Looking at the cost of cars, £25 is well worth it to keep your car extra safe on your driveway or on the street…Tried and tested - 100% recommended! We’ll definitely sleep better and be at peace tonight…
