As a homeschooling mom teaching math can be a struggle and that is where the importantance of manipulatives comes into play. Math concepts are easier to explain and understand when you can physically see and touch what is happening. These fraction magnets have made teaching fractions to my son so much easier. He can visibly see what are equivalent fractions. He can simply fractions. Granted it is limited in which fractions you can do this with, but it has enough that the concept can be understood and then applied They are good quality and durable. The pieces are also not too small where I have to worry about my younger son playing with them. They are a great investment for anyone teaching fractions, or children who are struggling with understanding fractions.

I got some magnetic boards and the kids learned fun ways to learn fractions.

I thought these were going to be strong magnetic tiles, but they are foam with a thin refrigerator magnet glued on the back. Should have looked into this better. Still it is fine for what it is, it just was very difficult to use with my son.

Excellent for trying to teach equivalent fractions to a whole class with hands on materials. Kids loved playing with them, too. Good for private tutoring, too.

As described. Each circle arrives connected, so you just have to separate the fraction pieces. Sticks well to our fridge. I paired it with a dry erase board for quick math problems.

These are a good learning tool and for kids with an imagination, they are good pretend pizzas! They stick to the fridge well, but I think it would be better if they could stick on top of each other for learning purposes.
