Bought for a friend who had accidentally bought Parent Trap 1 & 2 on a region 1 dvd (USA only) - she loved it. It's an old style Disney family film. Sweet. v old style.Sadly, we still couldn't get Parent Trap 2 for region 2 (Europe, UK)

One of my alltime favourite movies:) I must have watched it over fifty times since I was little. I still love it just as much; I now all the dialog by heart:)I hope everyone watch "The Parent Trap " at least once in their life - it is so Funny and charming.I never understood why they did a remake of this wonderful film!?I reccomend this to everyone who loves a good Disney film and Hailey miles.And if you do not - watch it anyway; I am sure you will like it...:)

I have two versions of this movie and both are excellent. This is another movie where Brian Keith takes a lead role. I like the way the movie depicts incompatibility between a male and a female and the consequences of same going their separate ways...in this movie...with twins...each taking one...one living in America and the other in the UK. Hayley Mills is a great actress and plays both of the twins. This movie is great when contrasted with the other version of the film that is also available. In my opinion, this one should be seen first and then you will also love the next version of same film available.

És una comèdia Disney, d'entrada ja saps quina mena de comèdia serà. Però impressiona el treball de la Hayley Mills. Em va al·lucinar quan la vaig veure per primer cop -jo era un nen- i m'ha tornat a fascinar ara. El DVD va arribar bé i tot és exactament tal com ho venien.

子どもの頃に映画館で一度見たきりです。公開時のタイトルは「罠にかかったパパとママ」で、その後、「ペアレント・トラップ」のタイトルでリメイクされました。先にリメイク作品を購入していたのですが、この輸入盤を見つけて懐かしくなり購入しました。個人的な思い入れのある映画なので、星5つは割引して考えて下さい。驚いたのはリージョンコードがあるので、PCでしか再生できないと思っていたのですが、我が家のパイオニアBDP−３１３０では普通に再生できました。鑑賞して改めて感じたのは、リメイク作品がオリジナルに敬意を払い極めて忠実に作られているのを発見したこと。後半にあるクルエラを山のキャンプに連れ出し、双子が嫌がらせをして追い返す部分を、私はリメイクだけの独自部分と思っていましたが、オリジナルもほぼこの通りです。違うのはオリジナルではカリフォルニアとボストンに分かれて住んでいた点ですが、今の距離感ではリメイクのカリフォルニアとロンドンという設定は妥当な範囲でしょう。オリジナルではヘイリー・ミルズが劇中で主題歌を歌いますが、リメイクの方ではリンジー・ローハンは歌っていません。どちらも子役は一人二役ですが、両親役はリメイクの方がピタリとしていると感じました。一言、ぜひ言っておきたいのは、この時期、ディズニーは健全な家族向けの楽しい実写版の娯楽作品をたくさん提供していました。けれどもアニメを覗いて日本語版が購入できるものは殆どありません。輸入盤でもDVDがやっとで、ブルーレイ化されているものを私は知りません。他の大手会社はレビューでは色々と悪い事も書かれていますが、大部分の会社は今では売れそうにもない作品でもセッセとBD化し廉価版まで出していてくれます。それに比べると、ディズニーの過去の実写版の自社作品に対する冷遇ぶりは群を脱いています。この点については不必要な抱き合わせ販売で不評の日本のディズニーだけでなく、本社も全くと言っていいほどの冷遇ぶりで、評価は0以下です。営業的に貢献しない作品は徹底的に無視するような拝金主義になってしまったのでしょうか？子どもの頃に胸をドキドキさせて見た作品がたくさんあるだけに、残念です。

Film Walt Disney avec Maureen O'hara et Hayley Mills Séparées très jeunes lors du divorce de leurs parents, les jumelles Sharon et Susan se rencontrent accidentellement lors d'un camp de vacances. Déterminées à rester unies pour la vie, les sœurs se mettent et tête de tout faire pour que leur parents, Mitch et Maggie, revivent ensemble. Mais c'est sans compter sur la présence de Vicky bien décidée à épouser Mitch et son argent...La fiancée de papa est un film "musical et chanté" à redécouvrir d'urgence tant il mérite d'être vu et écouté.

"The Parent Trap" mit Hayley Mills als Sharon und Susan ist die erste Disney-Adaption des "doppelten Lottchens" von Erich Kästner.Diese Version von 1961 zeichnet sich nicht nur durch eine gute Besetzung (Hayley Mills ist um Klassen besser als Lindsay Lohan oder gar als die Damen Ohlsen) aus, stark gewöhnungsbedürftig ist allerdings die Musik. Der 60er-Jahre-Charme dieses Films wird gerade vom Lindsay-Lohan-Remake nicht erreicht (kommt aber seinerseits an die Originalverfilmung des Kästner-Stoffes von 1949 auch nicht ansatzweise heran.)Erstaunlich und unnötig finde ich, daß die Adaption in so unglaublich reichen finanziellen Verhältnissen spielt. In der Buchvorlage sind Körner-Palfys zwar auch keine ganz armen Leute, aber hier ist die Zurschaustellung von zu viel Geld deutlich übertrieben. Erstaunlich finde ich auch (und etwas gruselig) die Einrichtung eines "Sommerlagers". An dem paramilitärischen Gehabe dort findet aber offenbar außer mir niemand etwas merkwürdig (im Lindsay-Lohan-Remake von 1998 ist die Darstellung praktisch identisch).Trotzdem nette Unterhaltung!
