Kikkoman is an excellent soy sauce - I buy it all the time. We occasionally make sushi at home, and this sauce goes really well with it. The only thing is that for our family it’s a bit too concentrated and salty, so I dilute it with water in roughly a 3:1 ratio, and then it’s perfect. A one-litre bottle lasts us about seven months.

delivery was considerably delayed, but that's because i was silly enough to order it during the holidays. in any case hermes brought the package--when not to my apartment door, although i was home--at least to my house, which isn't always the case here in berlin. the six one-liter bottles arrived undamaged and in a pristine condition. the price as of january 2026 is hard to beat. i feel bad for my local asian grocer, but for as much soy sauce as i use, i can't afford *not* to buy here--as long as the price remains this much lower than in-store.
