LEGO 41125 Friends Horse Vet Trailer Construction Set

If your child loves lego and horses this is fantastic.My daughter got this for her 10th birthday and loved it, especially getting a new horse, the tack and all the little bits and bobs that go with it, it has made for hours of play over the summer hols so far!

We have had this Horse Vet Trailer set since just before Christmas and this is one of my children's favourite sets to play with alongside the Lego Friends 41126 Heartlake Riding Club set that I have also bought them. We are big fans of Lego Friends and Lego Elves in my home I have also bought the Lego Friends 41123 Foal's Washing Station set and the three of them go together wonderfully if you are able to get them together. At the time of buying the set it was £39.99 at full price but I managed to buy it from Amazon at a bit less.The set comes with a Olivia figure and her Aunt Sophie figure along with a dapple grey horse that I believe is called Star although none of the main description's either here or on the Lego site advise this and I had to search for the horses name on the Lego Friends site as my children wanted to know what to call him.The set has two booklets with easy to follow step by step instructions and three main build bags. The set has 370 pieces plus some small additional spare pieces.The trailer plus jeep at the front measure approx 27.5cm long by 10cm high by 7cm wide without any trailer doors, sides or roof parts open.The trailer itself measures 18cm long by 10cm high by 7cm wide again without any doors etc open.The jeep measures 11cm long by 7cm high by 5.5cm wide.Both Olivia and Sophie come with just the one hair or hat piece each but the vet accessories include a nurse hat and stethoscope and so these can be put on Sophie or Olivia if wished.Star has a few options as he can have his main middle piece so that he isn't wearing anything or alternatively he has a blanket or saddle that can be worn. Also as I just mentioned, the set comes with a pack of light blue vet accessories which include an ice pack, thermometer and medicine spoon to role play with Star and Aunt Sophie the Vet and there is also a blue bow to put on Star if wished.The jeep can be dis-attached from the trailer and played with by itself and the roof comes off to allow access to the driver and passenger seats and both Olivia and Sophie can fit in together at the same time.The vet trailer can also be played with separately to the jeep however if not clipped on at the front the trailer does slope as it needs to be attached to the jeep to stay straight.The vet trailer has a roof box for storing the vet accessories and this can be opened or the whole roof box part taken off for easier access too. The vet trailer door and horse door both open and the side on the opposite side to the door also swings open for easier play access too. Star has a horse stretcher which fits into the back of the trailer nicely or obviously Star can be popped into the back without too. There is a little bed in the back of the trailer for either Sophie or Olivia however to fit the figure on the bed you do need to raise one of the arms or else position them in a sideways slant.In addition to the main vet trailer and jeep there is a horse stretcher, vet accessory tools, two medicine bottles, equestrian medical book, horse blanket, saddle, seat and a carrot to feed to Star.As I mentioned above this has been one of my children's favourite Lego Friends sets to play with alongside the riding club and the play value they have both offered along with the foal washing station over the last four months has been wonderful but even by itself this offers great play value looking after the ill horse. Another wonderful Lego Friends set that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend for anyone thinking of buying it.

Bought this for my daughter as she's been looking at getting into Lego for a while. it was a lovely mummy and daughter afternoon spent building this, even though it was hard to keep her attention all the time (I think it was the actual playing she was looking forward too). The only negative I would say is that it came apart very easily whilst in storage. I'm not sure if this is normal for Lego as this is one of our first purchases but thats the only reason it didn't get 5*. Competitive pricing as well and I have since bought a few more sets for rainy afternoons.

Good value as it was a discounted price. Great play value for little girls. I bought this as a birthday present for my 8 year old Granddaughter and she loves it.

Bought for a grand child's Christmas present so not seen as yet. This did not seem to be available in major stores. It appears to be fine.

This item was a gift for my granddaughter. Lego has stood the test of time. It was value for money, and my granddaughter loved it.

My daughter loves this. It was complicated enough to keep her entertained but didn't take her so long that she lost interest like some of the bigger sets. She is horse crazy so that probably helped keep her interested.

Another gread addition to my daughters Lego Friends collection. Price very competitive compared to Argos, toys r us etc!
