LightDims Black Out Edition - Light Blocking LED Covers for Routers, Electronics and Appliances and More Blocks 100% of Light

I’d been meaning to buy these for ages. I get so fed up with every gadget and device having ridiculously bright LED lights just to let you know the flippin’ thing is on - power strips, anything that is charging, stand-by lights on TVs. Even just one in the bedroom is enough to give off intense light at night. I have no idea how people sleep with these things on. But LightDims Black Out Edition are genius - they instantly block those annoying little lights. You get a set of pre-cut stickers which are perfect for most small appliances, plus a sheet that can be cut to size for bigger lights. There was also a free gift of a non-adhesive sheet that can be used for items you can’t put stickers on - so, for example, all those irritating lights on TVs, appliances in hotel rooms. I shall definitely be taking that on trips with me to see how that works. I definitely recommend this product for anyone who is fed up with little but powerful LED lights glaring away in the dark! Shipping takes slightly longer than the usual next-day deliveries we are used to but as it comes from a small family-run business the US, that’s not a problem.

The lights on my hifi equipment have always bothered me. Some were red and others blue, some bright and others dim. They spoiled my visual enjoyment of listening to music. I used several little dots and cut out some of the strips. They all worked perfecly and I now have complete darkness looking back at me. Awesome. Will buy a few extra for use in the future 😎

Good little stickers to cover those annoying LEDs on all electrical appliances

These light-blocking stickers are exactly what I needed. I'm one of those people who can't stand bright lights at night coming from routers, plugs, and other devices. Plus, I bought these specifically for traveling. There's nothing worse than staying in a hotel with blackout curtains but still being bothered by the standby light from the TV or air conditioner. It completely ruins my sleep. I've tried these stickers at home, and they completely block out the light. They stick very well, and I love that they come in different sizes and shapes. For those who say they're expensive, I disagree. These stickers are excellent value for money considering how well they solve a major problem. I didn't realise these were made by a family business in the US. The seller included a thoughtful note in the package, which was a nice touch. I'm always happy to support small businesses. Highly recommended.

For years I have been covering irritating LEDs with combinations of Blu Tack and electrical tape, which are fairly inelegant. I saw these in my Amazon recommendations and I decided to pick up a set. I paid £5 but they are currently unavailable so hopefully they will be back in stock soon before I run out! In the pack are ‘over 100’ stickers in a variety of shapes and sizes. I have used them to cover hard drive lights, lights on monitors, and power indicator lights on extension leads - just to name a few. They really live up to the ‘Blackout Edition’ claim and I only saw the very slightest bit of light sleeping through on particularly bright lights. At night they work great at covering over annoying lights which I, like many others, really cannot stand. I needed to peel one of these off and I was particularly impressed with the lack of residue, but they don’t fall off if you don’t peel them. These are almost invisible on black devices and have a glossy finish. On other colours they don’t look quite as elegant. But often the lights I was trying to hide were, for example, under a desk and the look didn’t matter as much and all I cared about was hiding the light. They are the sort of thing you see and wonder why nobody thought of them before. I would definitely recommend these if you hate unnecessary LEDs as much as I do. The availability of these seems to have become quiet scarce of late, so if they are available I would advise snapping some up quickly before they run out!

This product does block out light i.e red or blue light given off from TV or plugs but it does not stick very well. If it actually stuck to the TV or plug it would be a perfect solution.

I got these to cover the camera on my mobiles, tablets and laptop. I also used some to cover the led light from my wifi box and TV. They work perfectly, completely blocking out any light and what I really like about these things is that they are perfectly reusable so if you can take them off or put them back on and they will still stick without leaving any marks behind. You get a lot of them in a packet, two different shapes and all different sizes and a single large black patch that you can cut to any size if you need to cover an awkward shape. This product was invented by a small business owned by husband and wife and two kids and that makes me even happier to support small business like these especially when the product actually does the job that I paid money for. Bravo!

I do not understand any of the negative reviews.. I assume people just cannot read as to whether or not they are dimming or blacking out LEDs. I bought the blackout version because that is what I wanted and it works perfectly. It is a little annoying to apply but not more than any other type of sticker.

The original one and the best for quality and desired effect, block in my case, the power led perfectly.

I purchased the Black Out Edition. While I was thrilled immediately with how well the product worked, how it looked, and the variety of sticker sizes, I held off reviewing because I wanted to see if there were issues with lack of stickiness that others have reported, particularly on curved surfaces like the bulb indicators on some of my electronics. After a couple of weeks now, all stickers have stayed put and continue to completely block out the light. As for the curved surface (bulb indicator), I first cleaned the surface and surrounding area. I took a round sticker that was larger than the lighted area, and then did some snipping around the sticker, almost like slicing a pie, but not cutting all the way to the center. I then firmly pressed the cut sticker to form around the bulb, creasing and pressing it as tightly to the surface as I could. Cosmetically, I then put a second, un-cut round sticker on the top. Worked like a charm. This may not work for everyone or every non-flat surface, but at this product's low price, and a little creativity, it is worth a try. I am a former user of black electrical tape to black out light, but no more; I never liked the residue left by the electrical tape.

Je suis personnel navigant en compagnie aérienne et je voyage donc énormément ; j’ai acheté ce produit que je transporte désormais toujours dans ma valise, ça ne prend absolument pas de place et cela permet de bloquer efficacement les lumières parasites (flash de détecteur ou LED de TV…) dans les chambres d’hôtel - le vendeur est charmant et réactif - merci et bravo !
