Great!
This is a super tool, cats aren't afraid and I find it very therapeutic electrifying these wee pesky pests.

Brilliant bit of kit!
I've four cats and normally spend a small fortune every year treating them for fleas. I saw this advertised and decided to take a chance, Wow! treated my cats three weeks ago with a very well know expensive brand of fleas treatment thinking jobs done. How wrong was i, used the zapper out the box and killed around 35 fleas in 10mins with it. Shocked to be honest, but very very happy. Not only saving a shed load of money each year on over priced chemicals. But I've got 4 very happy cats. Highly recommend to everyone.

I loves it, I loves it not.....
Well, actually I love it BUT it stops working after a little more than a month. My dog has long hair so I cannot just comb through. My trick is to search for the fleas and then insert the zapper to fry them. Much easier than trying to catch them by hand. It doesn't get rid of the eggs and is not as efficient as you would wish for the price but with the long fur the normal flea comb is definitely not an option so this definitely beats picking out by hand. The down side is that the zapper stops working soon. This is my second one and neither has lasted. I thought the first was faulty so gave it another go.After a few weeks of use the zapper stops buzzing right away when it is switched on. I gave everything a careful, thorough clean but that didn't help. I had to switch it on and leave it for a minute before it would work. That minute gradually lengthened and now it will not start at all. Whwn you retract the teeth it buzzes nicely but that is just no use. Oh, and another thing, if you just zap the fleas in passing they only seem to be stunned. I need to leave them touching the zapper for a few seconds before they are definitely dead. And that makes such lovely flea fireworks if it's getting slightly darker :DI hope that helps

Ok, but much to fiddling.
We purchased this as the cheaper models seemed much to inferior. To be perfectly honest, i wished we hadn’t bothered. The zapper does work, although it is very temperamental. The high pitched sound will stop even with hair in it, and most of the time you can’t even find it. This can be extremely frustrating as the fleacircumnavigate the prongs. When it does work correctly it is very satisfying to chase the little devils and zap them. Our precious little mate doesn’t mind the noise or the zaps, in fact he loves the attention! For anyone looking at purchasing one of these, i would strongly recommend not bothering and instead get a good quality flea comb and a dish of soapy water. Find the critters and move the comb straight into the water and drown them. Your stress level will lower!Regards John

Yes it DOES work, but read below!
So. Before buying I read a LOT of reviews as they all seemed to say it was amazing, or useless. So. I’m going to give a proper objective review to help others. This item is actually not as bad as a lit of people make out. Not perfect, but, actually pretty good. So the noise it makes isn’t too bad, could scare some animals, but didn’t scare mine so that’s good. The comb prongs could be a little longer - my fat is a domestic short hair and the hair is too thick and long in places for the prongs to reach the skin. But, if you change the angle of the comb so it’s perpendicular to the skin it works fine (and as it’s electrified it doesn’t need to be at an angle to lift fleas out - as soon as they touch it they are electrocuted). The battery cover build quality isn’t great but to be honest it doesn’t fall off. And if it does, it looks easy to tape up. It comes with a little cleaning brush to get fleas, flea dirt and fur off the comb which works well. So. Down to whether it works or not. Yes. Mostly! Probably 80% of the time it kills fleas on contact. The noise means that current is flowing. And when something makes a short circuit (like a flea) the sound stops. This indicates you’ve got something caught in the comb. So lifting the unit away from the animal will show you what you’ve got. Mostly it’s a flea but sometimes the unit will stop because of flea dirt or other particles in the fur. About 20% of yhstime though the flea is stunned and not completely electrocuted so best to just check. But they certainly aren’t capable of jumping away so are easy to kill. The only recommendation I would give is to regularly clean fur and dirt off the unit as it will not electrify again until the short circuit is removed - IE, the dead flea is removed. Also if the comb is full of fur then it can push the flea away from the electrified prongs and mean it doesn’t get electrocuted at all. And then it will jump away. So. Comb a few times, then clean the comb, then carry on. And for fur that seems too long or thick, just part it and do it in small chunks. Then this does exactly what it says it does. Overall I completely recommend it! It really does work as long as you bare the above comments in mind.

Amazingly effective product
Really does what it’s says. Very easy to use. Zaps the fleas. Our Norfolk Terrier is unable to tolerate toxic flea preparations but has picked the critters up from a relatives dog that has been ‘treated’.Really effective.

Great idea shame it doesn't work!
Love the idea and ease of use BUT used it once everything ok 2nd time wouldn't turn on unless the comb was almost fully retracted rendering it no good unless you have a bald cat or dog. Can't return as had over 30 days. Very expensive for something that not reliable. Zapper 0 fleas 1

grande delusione

Furax.
