Q: what is the height of the speakers

The speakers are three foot, four and a half inches tall

Q: Are these sizes correst at 11cm wide and 24cm deep?

The measurements are approximately correct but the actual size is closer to 12cm x 25cm. Also the actual footprint required probably 15cm x 27cm as the bottom plate is curved to give a little stability.

Q: Are these suitable for music? Is there plenty of bass and are they quite warm?

speakers are rubbish. Bass is shallow without details. Mid and high not clear and real power arround 50 wats. Drivers does not have any labeling whew are from. Build quality are polling. Don't waste money on this product. If money problem.get second hand proper speakers.

You need a set of cables with the right connectors for your TV audio output at one end and no connectors at the other end. This is because the speakers have clip connectors, i.e. you strip the insulation from the ends of the cable to expose bare wire (about 15mm) and then press the tab on the connector in the speaker and feed the wire in. Release the tab and it grips the wire. So to connect to your TV you need a set of cables that have the correct connections for your TV's audio output at one end. The other end does not matter, if they have connectors on the just cut them off and strip the wires as above. If you cannot find ready made cables of the right length you can make them up. Buy the speaker cable to give you the right lengths and then attach the right sort of connectors to one end, although this is not straightforward if you have not done anything like this before.
