The gloves are very comfortable, thick and offer great protection when I'm welding. The are long enough to cover most of my forearms and, although thick are still supple enough to allow enough movement and feel to be able to use hands to pick things up etc. They appear to be very well made and hope to use them for years to come.

I don't weld a lot and i'm not very good at it, so you a good pair of welding gloves were a must for me for when I decided I was going to use the welder. They are pretty thick which is good for protection but also bad for handling the workpiece. I've rated this a 4* but really I think it should be a 3.5* but due to it being good for protection I've rounded it up. If you want protection and dexterity i'd probably go with some more professionally tailored gloves, but if you aren't handling fiddly items and just need basic heat protection from welding/grinding, these are for you.

Use these all the time for gardening, very strong

Comfortable, flexible enough heat resistant gauntlets. Bought for welding - and ideal for this - although I've also found them to be very good for using with our wood-burning stove, as the handle gets too hot to touch. I suspect that the right glove will end up being used for the stove and the left for welding, as (being right-handed) a slightly thinner glove on the right hand would be better for controlling the welding trigger and it's the left that holds the work, if necessary. Mind you, at £4, I'll probably be buying a second pair when I next do an Amazon order that has free postage!

I have a solid fuel burner; cast iron and air control knobs to regulate temperature and door handle to access front of burner can become uncomfortably hot. I have a right hand welding glove in the log basket ready to use whenever I deal with the stove. These gloves are more than adequate. Thick and heat resistant, but still manoeuvre able. Can adjust burning coal or logs. They last well and very reasonably priced. Can’t fault them.

These gloves are sturdy, well stitched and despite being thick enough for withstanding the kiln heat, they are surprisingly supple, flexible and comfortable. great value

Arrived on time, very disappointed in the material one glove very different than the other,right hand glove is slightly thicker and not at all supple the left one seems to be quite thin and floppy, we will see how durable it is .

I think no matter the quality you will experience when welding MIG gas free wire of bad quality, experience a lot of fallout hot balls that will burn you between the fingers no matter how good quality the gloves is. I unluckily buy poor quality gas free wire and half the deposit come of as hot balls, bouncing everywhere and I got burned many times yesterday, between my fingers. Nothing serious just very hot feeling. I used very expensive high quality gloves in my welding school decades ago, got “burned” using those too. I give these gloves for it’s price a top 5 score. However if you want the top notch of gloves, they don’t exist on Amazon anywhere so this is probably as good as they get on Amazon
