Great gadget that won;t break the bank
Although I have a full size food processor, I needed a smaller one that would just do a few cloves of garlic or maybe 1 onion. I think this is the best kitchen device I have bought in a very long time. It's very simple how it works, but is well made and easy to assemble and take apart. Cleaning is simple and you can wash by hand or put it in the dishwasher. I have chopped 1 onion at a time, cutting into 4 chunks first, placing the pieces in and you then just pull the cord, and watch the food get chopped up. You can easily set how small the piecies are by only pulling on the cord a couple of times and looking what size the food pieces are, then pulling again until you're happy. It's so easy and I went on to chop 1kg of onions in this way, using a spatula to scrape out the pieces, and though you remove the blade each time, it's easy to do that and very easily slots back into place. It was great to chop a bulb of garlic and make a batch of garlic butter with it, after peeling the cloves first, I put around half in the tub, though it would hold more, and did it in two batches. Really simple to chop herbs by the bunch and also made light work of harder veg, like carrots. I peeled and cut the carrots into around 3 pieces before processing. I needed a punnet of mushrooms chopped finely and would normally do this by hand, but using this device was a no brainer. did it all in seconds. I will be trying bread next to see how fine I can get the breadcrumbs. Love this gadget and would rather spend a bit longer processing the food like this, with an easy wash up, compared to processing large quantites in my full size Magimix, and then have the hastle of washing that kit. Well worth the money and got it next day delivery.

This is great.
I've just used this for the first time. It feels a little strange at first but you soon get the idea and then it's great. It's quick and easy to chop, you can see what you're doing, it doesn't need plugging in and doesn't sound as though you've got the builders in and it's easy to clean. It feels well made too, no problems at all. It's going to get a lot of use. It'll do baby food too. I looked at the all the favourable reviews, I'm happy to agree. I'd mention this, though, especially - it says be careful of the blades and they are not kidding. Clean it by putting water in it, put the lid on and give it a few pulls. Putting this in sudsy water and going in with your Marigolds is asking for it. If you have children around the age that one is careful about cleaning products, make sure you stash this out their way - it's an attractive gizmo and an infant would certainly want to play with it. Definite no-no. Drinking doesn't arise with me but some do it in the kitchen while prepping, cooking. I'd think twice about this while tipsy, thanks. Those blades are sharp. Really excellent gadget.

Excellent chopper
This little chopper is so useful. Makes it easy to cut onions, I usually need to wear goggles due to watery eyes. With this thing no issues and does the job in a min. Best kitchen gadget to have.

Pull, Chop, Pull, Chop, Pull, Chop, Eat.
I have been using this gadget for around a month and can say its does exactly what you expect it to do, chop vegetables and fruit. I have tried carrot, lettuce, cabbage, tomato, cucumber, onion and even olives. Chop up you veg into chunks and making sure the blade is in first (obvious but yes I have forgotten to do this) and pop into the bowl and on with the lid. 2 or 3 pulls later and a finely chopped salad appears. The pieces come out different sizes but as expected the more pulls the finer the chop. Occasionally a piece will miss the blade but that's easily solved by a re pull with a few other items. A note of caution is easy to be over enthusiastic and a few times I've ended up with a very finely cut salad. Also don't overload with hard veg as you can't pull the blades. I've only done this once and as its so quick to do, there is no need to pack everything into the EasyPull Food Processor in one go. You need to keep your hand on the lid when operating to stop the unit moving and a certain amount of strength to pull, especially on the first go. I add this as my 83 year old mum thought it was super but didn't have the strength to use it. Due to the ridges inside the bowl the mixture has a tendency to cling to the sides but a quick pull with you fingers and out it comes (tapping the sides only goes so far). As for washing I've found putting a little water and washing up liquid inside, put the lid back on and then pulling a few times does a good job of removing the smaller remains of food. Otherwise into the dishwasher the blades and bowl goes. The lid wipes easily clean. Other reviews have mentioned the blades, yes they extremely sharp and care is needed when handling them. I don't have many kitchen gadgets as I have a small kitchen with very limited storage and surface space, consequently I am a cautious before buying what could be a gimmick gadget. The Zyliss EasyPull Food Processor I happy to say has not been put away after a couple of uses and the concept of eating my 5 a day regularly is now a reality and an easy thing to do.

Tja was soll ich sagen ??
