Dunns RiverOriginal Fry Mix 300 g (Pack of 6)

I found this years ago in the discontinued section in Tesco. It was so good I went back and bought the last 2 tubs. I was quite excited to get 4 tubs delivered and immediately set about frying some chicken. In my opinion, the flavour just wasn't as good as it used to be. I remember it being so full of flavour that I couldn't stop eating it. i found this batch quite bland though, despite putting as much seasoning as possible (double dipped).I suspect they have gone the same way as KFC and reduced the amount of seasoning in the flour. There is a chance that my tastebuds are a bit more advanced than they used to be. Either way it's bland. I'll try another brand or just make some of my own.

I used to buy this from local supermarkets, but can not find it anymore.The 6 pack lasted me a good year with no spoiling or negative effects.The taste of this stuff on chicken is really good. I struggle to match it from any other product.

I love this. Great to dip boneless chicken thighs and sauté with a drop of oil in a non-stick frying pan for a really delicious southern fried style.

We waited for Amazon to get this back in stock post Covid. We love it on our chicken, gives a beaustiful flavour.
