Very sturdy and ideal for pruning Apple trees.

I saw this on Gardeners World and wanted one straight away. Even bigger than I thought it was going to be. That is a good thing for working on high parts of the garden. It is very sturdy too, and the single front leg makes it easier to get in to awkward places. It has very wide splayed feet so doesnt sink on soft ground. Very light, but strong. The only problem I have is where to store it - its too big for the garden shed and takes up too much space in the garage. I have to leave it outside, chained to a tree.

The ladder is excellent, both in design and construction, appearing to be very solidly made. I should also add that Henrys Ladders did an excellent job. I had a glitch with the couriers delivering and Henrys' representative worked very hard to resolve it, keeping in regular communication. As a result, I am very satisfied with my experience of using them

These garden ladders are the standard by which others are measured. Astonishing lightweight for their size, the steps are wide and deep, the tripod stable, and hard to imagine how to improve them. The feet feature wide base to prevent sinking plus projecting pins to prevent sliding. For hard surfaces, removable rubber feet are included: no need to buy any. No excuses now for not trimming the hedges! Could they be just a tad cheaper? An Excellent product.

I have a larger one similar to this type and found it marvellous. This size ladder will br perfect for lower hedges and my pergola....
