Arrived promptly and fitted my friends daughter perfectly!

I tried this product with my son on a recent family holiday. He had been doing well in the water and was pretty confident. However this devise caused him to flip in the water and the way it was designed held him face down. I was right beside him supporting him but the few seconds it took to turn him right really scared him. I tried again a few days latter and the same thing happened. My sister-in-law had the same experience with her son. Both boys refused to go in the water for the rest of the holiday. The devise does not do what it says, is a poor design and is dangerous!! It should have no stars but the review format requires at least one star, hence the rating!

So happy to have found this. Its a absolute swim trainer as the name suggests. The kid is in exactly the swimming posture in this one unlike the other rings and all. Least chance of face going down inadvertently in case of a baby in a pool. First time my kid is independent in the pool on himself. He is learning the strokes and lessons of swimming with this around him, his fear of water is now love for water with this one. Thumbs up to the producer and Amazon for delivering this foreign origin product ( costing 10-12 k if shipped from there ) in India.

Es estupendo. Mi hijo de tres años está encantado. Es un flotador muy seguro, cómodo para el niño y les da confianza para estar ellos sólos en el agua (siempre vigilados por supuesto). Importante seguir exactamente las instrucciones de colocación y muy importante que esté bien inflado en todas sus partes. Parece resistente y bien hecho. Muy contentos con la compra.

Seule bouée à ma connaissance pour les nourrissons qui leur permet d'être en position de nager, et non pas assis au milieu d'une sorte de radeau. Ma fille l'a utilisée à partir d'1 mois, en serrant bien le harnais. La seule concurrente valable que je connais est le gilet mousse avec brassards incorporés, mais je préfère celle-ci car le thorax est également au contact direct de l'eau, et le bébé peut aussi se reposer, se faire glisser tranquillement... Il est vrai que les plus sportifs parviennent à se retourner en se jetant en arrière, mais cela est assez rare, et ils arrêtent en général assez vite de le faire car ils se mettent en position désagréable. On a alors le temps de les remettre à l'endroit, à condition de rester à proximité, ce qui paraît évident. Je n'ai pour ma part jamais eu à tenir la bouée, et ma fille lui doit sa précocité en natation...

Wir hatten den Schwimmreifen jetzt mit in unseren Cuba Urlaub - einfach toll - hätte ich nicht vorher dran geglaubt, dass sich das Kind so sicher damit bewegen kann. Unsere Tochter ist 3,8 Jahre und wir konnten sie im Pool wie auch im Meer getrost mal schwimmen lassen ohne stets ein Auge drauf zu haben. Sie hatte sich schnell an den Reifen gewöhnt und empfand ihn auch nicht als belästigend, was ich dachte. Am letzten Tag probierten wir noch Schwimmflügel aus, die wir zur Not auch noch gekauft hatten - damit liegt das Kind wesentlich tiefer im Wasser, ist etwas flexibler unterwegs logischer Weise aber halt nicht so sicher und stabil. Also für den ersten Kontakt mit tiefen Wasser kann ich nur diesen Schwimmtrainer empfehlen! Als Schwimmtrainer an sich zu benutzen - kann man - aber ich bin der Meinung, da die Bewegungsfreiheit der Arme doch etwas eingeschränkt ist, kann man damit recht schwer Schimmen lernen. Mit den Schwimmflügeln ist das wesentlich einfacher, da die Arme frei liegen. Der Schwimmtrainer hat den Vorteil, dass das Kind bereits in Schwimmlage gehalten wird durch das Korsett. Ich würde wie bereits geschrieben zuerst dem Kind den Schwimmtrainer geben und nach der Eingewöhnung die Schimmflügel. Macht ungefähr 20 Euro zusammen - ich finde das ist okay!
