Nilfisk C 120 bar 120.7-6 PCAD Compact Pressure Washer with Accessories Kit

After my trusty old blue 'Kew' washer died (ie I tried to repair an internal leaky gasket & killed it), it was time to treat myself. I chose this on the basis of cost, reviews and accessories. And I like blue. I have been very pleased and impressed. One reviewer commented on the flimsiness of the supplied rotary drive/ patio cleaner attachment. I don't believe this is actually the case- this is not meant to be used as a broom! Once running, there is a high pressure rotary arm under the hood which allows it to 'hover' over the drive and blast away the grime with minimal brushing effort needed- if any is needed it is just to clear the debris with a light sweep so you can see what's been cleaned, and certainly it did my large block paved drive quite happily. There are two nozzles for the high pressure 'lance'. A standard fan shaped spray for all the usual things esp flat surfaces/cars and a small but deadly rotary spray which is brilliant for getting into crevices & annihilating weeds & moss. Very impressive. I liked the fact that the motor stops & starts when you use the trigger on the lance, which didn't happen with my last washer- so better for the electricity bill. Also the motor is less noisy than my last one. I have just started work on the patio round the back and was interested to see that it can suck water from a water butt as well as using the usual mains pressure. This really worked and provided exactly the same nozzle pressure and is obviously very eco friendly! (... and I was pleased as we're on a water meter!) Make sure the water in the butt is clean or get a suitable filter so you don't clog up the pump. I haven't used the drain cleaner or car brush yet but have no reason to suspect these won't work fine. I agree that the multilingual instructions & DVD are lacking clarity, but this ain't rocket science and I soon had this up & running. I don't think you can go wrong at this price bearing in mind that this is for domestic/ non professional use. Obviously I can't vouch for reliability & longevity, but it seems well made and the way you can store all the bits & pieces on the main unit shows some nice design touches. Although it's wheeled, it's so light I have just been moving it around by it's handle!

Great little pressure washer. Great price and delivery from Amazon. Not sure about why people complain about instructions there are literally 4 screws to fit. Found it very simple just using the picture on the box as a guide and none of it was critical to the operation of machine (adding wheels and a handle to drag it). I had been using my dads Karcher before (Mx725 I think), which was a heavy duty & heavy weight machine so my standards had been set quite high for something costing a lot less. The yellow box had cost him £200+ and he’d bought it second hand at quite a discount so was curious how this machine which weighs about the third of his and cost a third would work Operationally have it performs probably 95% up to my requirements. The pressure is good but there are some points where I could use just a little more pressure. Still 95% clean patios better than 100% dirty ones and at the price and compactness of this model more than satisfied In terms of the accessories. Quick run through. 1. The tornado nozzle – is awesome. Not sure why its more powerful but it is and makes doing patios much quicker than the traditional fan nozzle. 2. Traditional nozzle – seems fine 3. Patio cleaner – actually better than expected but took me a while to figure out. You need to use it as a hover cleaner not a scrubber. It will clean tiles to 80% but in about a quarter of the time. (I liken it to hoover and the tornado being a carpet cleaner). 4. Drain cleaner. –"edit have now used - and its really a helpful little tool to have. Unblocked my gutters in a jiffy and also helped clear the underground pipes a bit...definately a useful attachment" . – as an aside before I got the pressure washer I had a blocked drain in the garden and could fit my arm down it so I was trying to dislodge the blockage. When I put my hand down I discovered a cricket ball – bit odd but I took it out – still no drainage. Carried on and found a 2nd ball a bit more squidgy – tennis ball . Still didn’t fix the blockage so tried again only to find a 3rd really lodged cricket ball in there.. still no joy with drainage so stuck my hand down again and could barely get to the bottom with my fingers, but could feel yet another cricket ball in there! I can only assume the previous owner dog found it really fun to hide his balls in the drain. Eventually hand drenched I got the final ball out…. I don’t think the drain cleaner would have done anything there but suspect it will be good for blockages in the house! 5. Car brush- felt soft enough to use on the car without fear of scratches. Some small tips. 1. Use the box to guide fitting everything together.- instructions are for wimps! 2. You need a hose lock to connect your hose to the machine (not provided but most people have these knocking about). 3. You need to turn the water up to max from tap to ensure flow is adequate for machine to operate. 4. Hover from the surface which ever tool you are using as to close will lead to dirt in tool 5. Use with some care on items... I tried to clean a plaster garden ornament with the tool and it took of the top surface

NILFISK C120. 6-6 PCAD X-Tra Big Accessory Pressure Washer. Very pleased with performance of the this smart pressure washer, and delighted with extra's you get, very good value. I considered other makes for quality ( according to feedback comments ) and overal value for money, the Nilfisk won by miles especially at the Amazon offer of £80 on a £200 product. Even has longer pressure hose than others but I would consider making sure you have a long water hose, I purchased extra hose to connect to my own to enable me to clean areas long overdue for a treat. Easy to assemble and very effective on removing dirt and moss on drive and pathways, the circular jet attachment is a must, with a quick and easy swop over to one of the jets to clear the mess remover, looks like a new drive.

Thank goodness I didn't take too much notice of the negative comments here! The gentleman who said the unit was no more powerful than his garden hose can't have actually switched it to the on position! The C120 only has 4 self tapping screws to fit the handle and wheel holders. The wheels pop on as do the "axle covers". The power unit is then complete, a ten minute job and the tool is provided. The patio cleaner takes another couple of minutes to assemble, connect it and your water supply and you are ready to go. The patio cleaner has internal spinning jets that actually lift the cleaning head off the ground the power is so good. I have been using an old jet spray with an ordinary wand and the new Nilfisk does the job better and much faster as it covers a greater area. The range of tools are excellent and for the money I am very impressed. Now to get on with the rest of the patio!

I shop regularly on Amazon but rarely post reviews. This product is so good that I felt compelled to post a review. I expected something fairly basic given the low cost but it is anything but. I was able to assemble it without any difficulty at all, just using the pictorial guidance in the manual. No need for any instruction DVD - there are not that many loose bits to assemble so it isn't hard. In terms of use, it is very user-friendly. It is nice and light/compact, so easy to move around. The jet is very powerful and was extremely effective in cleaning decking which hadn't been touched for 2 years. The green algae was stripped away along with the dirt and the decking now looks as good as new. Very good value and very user-friendly.

Purchased this from the warehouse deals for around £85. Just the box was damaged but everything else was all fine. The wheels and handles need to be attached at the beginning but it's pretty straightforward. The pressure is decent but not super strong, for cleaning the patio, car and dirt it does the job, anything really stuck on this struggles, like old plaster etc. However for its size and weight its very good and can't complain on it's general use. Attaching the hose is simple (using a hozelock hose) and the plug length is decent, around 6m. The pressure hose pipe is of good length, around 6m, but the wheels and lightness of the machine means can be moved easily while in use. When on, it is obviously noisy but much quieter than other pressure jet washers I've used. Storage is really good as the main handle, pressure tube, foam attachment, pipe and nozzles slot in neatly. It's light so easy to take out and use when needed. The patio washer attachment is good and works surprising well, The car wash attachment is equally good. Haven't used the drain cleaner but assuming it should work well enough to clear debris. One irritating thing is the Powerspeed Nozzle is really odd to swivel from high to low whilst in use, meaning you can't do it one handed so have to stop the flow and guess the pressure the keep adjusting back and forth. So far been using it for a 3 months and no problems. Very pleased with this pressure washer. Overall happy.

OK, works reasonably well but the scrubber brush has a major weakness in that too much force and the clips that hold the brush in place and allow it to spin break off. Fine if you can find them again otherwise the brush is cream cracked. Not too impressed with this aspect but the jet of water is of a reasonable strength and does a good job, not brilliant but good. Bit fiddly to sort out after use as the leads are quite long and take some folding up for storage. Quality seems OK, again not great but OK. Would not buy again.

Good Quality item, This is the first pressure washer I have ever owned. Is good to clean my patio, car and I have even cleaned black marks from my house external wall (had them for few years and it always annoyed me). Recently I have said to my friend this is probably the best home maintenance tool I've ever owned. Item does look like a good quality item, accessories are spot on. I have used everything so far except for the thing that unblock drainage. Bottle that sprays foam is great and it really works! Sometimes I think that pressure could be a bit stronger but I have nothing to compare, I am not sure how it works in the yellow brand washer. Anyway it is strong enough for everything I used it for so far. EDIT:12/04/2015 Used it for more than a year and still love it. Had a need to use add-on to clean (unbock) pipes. I was extremely happy with it. My cowboy tiler was drowning plenty of tiles glue down the bath tube. Add-on fixed few blocks but due to nature of the block did not manage to remove everything.
