Tobacco, Citrus and Carraway. What more could you want? Bargain price enduring scent.
This is a lovely fragrance. Warm and masculine. I suppose a little dated when compared to the current crop of similar scents. However it is classy not sweet or sickly which seems to be common amongst tobacco scents right now. Perhaps that's why it may seem for the older man. Interestingly my 17 yr old son likes it better than Tom Ford TV or Carolina Herrera for Men. It would be wrong to restrict it to any particular age group - as with most fragrances it depends on who, when and where. It has good staying power and projection, for the price a real bargain.

Remarkable perfume for the price
Aramis Havana is an excellent perfume by any measure but for the price it is truly remarkable. A unique scent that opens somewhat sweet but quickly settles down to something of a fresh tobacco leaf accord. Does not in any way smell cheap, if you slapped a pretentious name on and sold it as a niche you could charge 4 times what it goes for now and the perfumista crowd would come running. If Aramis doesn't discontinue it and the price remains as it is I'll be sure to pick up another bottle in the future. Highly recommended.

Pretty good fragrance
I have never bought nor smelt the original Aramis fragrance, this Havana though is pretty good. It smells to me like a mixture of the old 1980s Ralph Lauren edt in the green bottle and Thierry Mugler's B-Men. Being that I already owned both of those edts then maybe Havana wasn't worth buying. It is good though and is pretty strong and spicy.Wear it and imagine you're a Colombian drug lord from an old Miami Vice episode, that is what it conjures up.Basically not bad for £25 or less.

Not brash - just quietly, reassuringly masculine.
Long-lasting spices and sandalwood scent. Not as rich, musky or brash as some - just quietly, reassuringly masculine. In the days of black and white films, the man who used this would have been jut-jawed, clean-shaven, worn an RAF cravat, driven an MG sports car and smoked a pipe.As JK said - this is a scent for the elder statesman.

Ideal For An Elder Statesman!
Aramis Havana had great reviews on Fragrantica.com which is well known for attracting those with a great nose. Given that it was going for a good deal during Amazon's Black Friday promo I thought I'd give it a whiff. I guess I was expecting something similar to Chanel Egoiste, which I've previously bought for £100 as I love it! Given the price difference, I guess it's no surprise that it's nothing like it.Havana isn't unpleasant, but it's definitely a dad's scent. Actually, more of a grandad's scent. They'd wear it and it's suit them perfectly and smell nice enough. Think robe, slippers, cigar and Aramis Havana. Unfortunately, it means it's not for me but it'll be a nice gift for my dad's birthday.

Spicy and woody scent with hints of Cuban cigars....
I had and loved the original scent in the blue bottle 20 years ago and decided to purchase the newer edition as the older version is impossible to find. A very classic woody, warm spicy scent with hints of Cuban cigars and rum... Havana in a bottle! Unfortunately It is not the Havana of old and appears to be a "watered" down version of the original. It is still a very nice and reasonably long lasting scent and have rated it 5 stars as it is still a great buy for the price.

very unsure !
Its a good job this arrived late as it was a present for my father. The label on the bottle is out of line, I thought Aramis would have had a quality control department to avoid this .

Still great EDT
For a 40 year old scent it still holds a touch of vigour. It’s not for the under 40s, but has an amazing hint of Cuba. Great fragrance for the 40-60 year genre. Has a touch of youth, with strong scents of leather and tobacco. I love it.
