Great quality
Firstly - disclaimer - I've had this case for less than a week so this is first impressions rather than a detailed review.I've been pleasantly surprised by this case since buying, so wanted to help other people make up their mind, but there are things to bear in mind.Firstly the 'impactology' stuff they talk about in the marketing blurb (which I disregarded as being a fancy way of saying it has a bumper) is actually quite good. When I deliberately bump my phone on a hard surface you feel the shockwave dissipate in the material. The bumper does however add bulk to the sides of the phone, which when you already have 6 plus could be a downside, but actually the case is very well though out and the materials use elsewhere really slim it down. Despite this bumper it's still smaller than my previous 'folio' case. The materials are also top quality and feel really premium. It's a reasonably expensive case and you don't feel shortchanged. The material is a bit sloppy however - I don't find it has the same friction as the iPhone's own shell. The other downside is the bumper covers the iPhone's own buttons, so you have to use the secondary ones built into the case, which are tougher and require more effort to push. But despite this, the case is clearly thought through. The clip that closes it is also part of the stand, and he material itself lets you choose the angle.I replaced my old case with this one (the old one was a comparably priced one from a good brand) and this is far superior. It's thinner, lighter and better thought out. There are some drawbacks crates by the bug buffer round the edge but it will also help protect your phone.Happy customer here. Thanks guys.

One of the best out there so far!
a well thought out case that fits the IPhone 6+ snuggly and securely. The rear of the case is a semi soft gel case with the Tech21 impact gel in place around the phone, The case has open slots for speakers, charging port and earphones (all at the base) and the power button and volume buttons have flexible buttons embedded in the case. In practice these work well though the volume button control can be iffy due to the fact the case front has to be folded back enough to allow good access to the buttons. The front of the case is a plasticised rigid cover with a textured surface. The interior of this front cover is a slightly soft velvety surface. There is a suitable cut out inside to allow for the storage of 1 or 2 credit card sized objects and they fit snuggly in.Im not 100% sure why the front cover has a cut out for the ear phone of the phone...would anyone answer the phone and then keep the cover in place to speak? not sure. A nice touch is that the front cover does in fact "snap" into place to lock closed; whilst initially it seems that the catch wouldn't be man enough to keep it closed the slightly silicone stickiness of the gel rear means the catch stays in place very well during use.The camera cut out in the rear of the gel case is wide enough to stop any kind of "flash bleed" that can be encountered on similar cases. All in all this is a well thought out case and, though somewhat expensive, its a good high quality match up for a shiny new IPhone 6+!

Could be better...for the price
Overall it's a good case. Had a Tech 21 for my iPhone 5S which was better though. I guess this model suffers from trying to resolve the iPhone 6 plus size challenges so mainly you have an awkward flap to deal with all the time and the "hard' clip which keeps the lid closed can get in the way. The main issue I have is that on the iPhone 6 plus Apple moved the Sleep/Wake button from the top to the upper right hand side of the phone. In this product when you try and switch the phone off using the button, because the plastic side surround is so hard and sits over the buttons (for sleep/wake and volume up-down), you end up playing with the volume as the different buttons are diametrically opposite each other. It would be much better if Tech21 made the sleep/wake button was exposed like they have done with the volume on/off switch. Also you'll see there is a diagonal "slit" on the cover. I wondered what it was and it is what it looks like, presumably a slit in the plastic where you can insert a credit card or maybe some business cards. It's very flimsy and for sure this will tear eventually. I think it's really superfluous and they should remove it. Other than that, it's a fine case and does give excellent all round protection to the costly and lets face it, disaster waiting to happen, 6 plus. Just drops a couple of stars for the little niggly things of which the sleep/wake button cover is something you would have thought simple product testing would have uncovered and resolved.

Bigger then expected.
Lovely premium case with added "smart" protection in drops. No 100% sure how long the clasp will last, or if the front cover will delaminate however. But... no reason to expect them to fail. The clasp also holds the phone when you have it in stand up display mode, which is a neat trick to pop your phone down while you watch a video or browse.I've had the d30 protection element in another tech21 case for the iPhone 5s. While i don't frequently drop my phone, accidents do happen and I'm sure this case has protected my phone on two occasions, when a lesser case may have allowed damage.Don't like the credit card slit in the front cover, this reveals the thinness of the interior laminate... maybe contributing to my concerns as to how long the front cover will last. It isn't needed, who doesn't carry a wallet / purse ?Finally this does make an already tall broad phone, all the taller and broader. A trade off I'm ok with as I'm sure it will keep my phone safe.
